This is a small light, but is spot on (get the joke) for quick work. Due to the reverse square, I would not use it for a permanent light, but for a quick need to light a subject, it works well. Now that is as a video light. I mainly use my mirrorless camera for video and not photos. I know this is also a speedlight for photos as well.

I’m heavily invested in Godox lighting equipment, but I thought I would try another brand to see how it compares. While I like the price and the features, I will say that I like using my Godox better. Most likely due to the fact that I have the Godox wireless trigger, which makes a big difference to me. I like to use my flashes off camera if possible. I’ll have to investigate to see if there is a way to use it with the trigger, besides as a slave to my other flash. For all around use, this flash is not bad at all though. A solid 4 stars.

I wasn't sure how I'd like this since it's not actually a flash, but a bi-color, continuous COB LED light in a flash body. Overall, it's an interesting little light that can be very useful if you know how to use it best. The Good- Bi-color: You can change the color temperature, unlike a regular flash- Continuous mode: You can use it in flash mode, or as a continuous light, which is great- Internal battery: Rechargeable via USB-C, no worries about external batteries- Great touchscreen: It's big, bright, and the touch functionality is responsive and works well- Carrying case: Has a semi-rigid, zippered case, unlike typical flashes that only have a little pouchThe Bad- Brightness: LEDs are not as bright as a non-LED flash- Build quality: While it's good, it's not quite as good as high end strobes, but it is better built for the price than I expectedOverall, it's a good, compact, all-around light that is very portable. I've used and tested other Jinbei products and the light quality is very good, which is the most important part.

The JINBEI H1 2-in-1 is a versatile device, it is ideal for photographers and videographers like us who need to combine the functions of a Speedlite Flash and a LED Continuous Light in a single device.- Supports HSS/TTL- Offers stable bi-color lighting (2700K-6500K) with the most recommended color reproduction (Ra>95/TLCI>97) on the market.- The built-in 2000 mAh lithium battery provides up to 60 minutes of continuous light at full power, or up to 120 minutes at medium levels.- Portability: Its compact and lightweight design. We were testing it and it is great for low light moments when you want to focus, with the LED light you can do it without problems, it is very powerful. You can have the light on and at the same time shoot as a flash, it's great!!I have other flashes from other brands with modeling light and they are not as powerful as this one.Something they can improve is that when you turn the camera to take vertical photos, the flash does not allow you to turn towards the ceiling, that is, it only turns up and down (it does not turn to the sides). In general, it is an excellent flash/LED light, for those who want to have both products in one and save money and space in your suitcase.!!Recommended!!

This speedlite is well built and has some nice features. The touch screen is nice and also looks good. The menus can take a bit to get used to but is fairly easy once you play around with it a bit.You can also have the light remain constant and can change the color temperature. This can be useful for a variety of scenarios. The main thing I would say is the drawback is if you're shooting in portrait, you cant tilt the speedlite up, as in towards the ceiling. Tilting it up would allow for a softer, wider light instead of just pointing it directly at the subject. The top of the speedlite does appear to be a mounting point for other attachments (maybe mini bownes mount?). In this case, there may be attachments that can help with this. Or you can just use a universal diffuser.Overall though, it's a nice product and seems like it would last for years to come.
