After considerable youtube watching and learning on how to do the best job, I learned that with a Toyota Camry 2003 v6 with 180,000 miles like I have, it is best to buy just the Strut and then save the existing Strut Mount from the Toyota vs buying a whole new strut assembly. This did take me total probably 4 hours - though I do take my time when working to do it right the first time and not have to worry about a bolt coming loose later (Or loosing a finger as a few people had said that they had done...your fingers are very important in life). The video is of the road noises that I was hearing my Camry BEFORE I had installed the new struts. Now its, just like it was the day that I bought my car.Anyways this fixed all of the sounds of my car when driving down the road. Though Now I do need to get an alignment as my car drives straight when the steering wheel is about a 10 degrees to the left. Its good though otherwise. Please do be aware to buy the KYB vs otherwise as I had read on the Toyota Nation boards that the other quick struts/Monroe ones are sub standard and will fail very soon after you install them. I get it, its cheaper and saves you time, but you don't want to have to do this job 2x and spend 2x as much. The KYB ones are not technically OEM, but they are at the same standard as OEM. So they are a higher quality .

There’s KYB and then there’s everything else. The factory KYB that came with my Camry last 160k miles before it started leaking. I gather these new replacement should last at least another 100k. Other brands don’t come close in quality.

Clunking sounds go away after I put a new pair KYB struts on even though the sounds come off from the passenger side only. I replaced two. After all, it has been 15 years and 128K miles on it.Update: 5 years and 43k miles later, they are still good.

I replaced both of the original OEM front struts on my 2002 Toyota Camry LE V6 at 100k miles with these KYB GR-2 struts (334338/Passenger and 334339/Driver) and am very happy with them! My OEM struts were 100k miles old, plus I had TRD lowering springs on them for the last 50k of those miles.I was prompted to replace the struts after hitting a bad pothole, which made my front right strut start clunking, knocking, and make crunching noises. Replacing the strut mounts alone didn't fix it. The damage must have ruined/blown the entire strut, because now with these KYBs (along with my 4 year old lowering springs) my car rides like new - no noise and very smooth! The KYB struts raised my car almost an inch, from its sagged, blown strut height, back up to where it should be (appropriately lowered, because of the lowering springs). My original OEM rear struts aren't showing any bad symptoms other than a bit of sagging, but I just ordered a pair of KYB GR-2s for them as well to even everything out. I'm enjoying my car again! Thanks Amazon & KYB!!
