I bought these to replace my OEM units for a 2011 Toyota Rav4 with 220K miles. With the fraction of cost, I restore suspension systemback to performance.Keep original Toyota Springs, just drop in KYB Struts [made in Japan]Replace Shock Absorber Boot Febest TSHB-ACR50 and add grease to bearing mount kit.I mark all mechanical points and install back exact the same location, so no alignment needed. Thanks Amazon sell good products.

Strut was not shipped in it’s original box and is missing the top but for the strut. The nut is specific to the strut as it has a poly-lock built in. Very disappointed.

I bought both the front right and front left. You need to reuse the existing strut baffle as an insulator as it seems KYB doesn't make a top or bottom rubber insulator. I also installed new mounts, but for some reason I still have a squeak coming from one of the Struts.I reinstalled it to double check if I had somehow made a mistake.Maybe I got a Lemon from KYB. After driving two months I thought the squeak was coming maybe my rear door, but after jumping up and down on the back and the front left,it's the Strut.Too late to get a refund now.For the hassle, I would rather install Quick struts from Monroe or Gabriel. And I did compress the Strut four or five times before installing it.

Got these as a replacement for the stock struts on my 2008 Toyota Rav4. I researched on line with forums to see what others liked and glad I went with the KYB. It was a perfect fit replacement, good quality and excellent performance. My old ones were broken and what a difference functioning shocks make!

The vehicle rides like a grain truck; way too stiff for a non-performance passenger vehicle. Also, KYB went cheap by not including the boot to protect the strut shaft. For the price of the strut, ALL wear components should be included, with the exception of the bearing plate. I found this out after I had one strut off and opened the box, requiring a trip to the dealer to get the new boot. Either charge a few dollars more for the boot and include it with the strut kit, or discount the strut further and provide clear descriptions that all the wear components are not included. This is my first and last time purchasing KYB.

6 months ago (September 2016) I ordered a set of these for my 2006 RAV4 along with mounts (separate purchase). I also rented a spring compressor kit from O'Reilly. Install was pretty straight forward with the help of a YouTube video. The struts are good quality and to this day, they ride perfect. Not too hard and not to soft. Would purchase this brand from this seller again. Good experience overall. Thanks!

Drop in replacement! Luckily I didn't need to align our tires after replacing all 4 gas struts and both front stabilizer bar links on our 2008 RAV4. The job did take me all day (~10hrs) to replace all 4 struts.I changed these because our RAV was making a little noise when backing up-turning, or going over a slight bump. Also figuring that it's almost 10 years, this was a cheap replacement.I would recommend getting the replacement rubber boot and shims if you can find them. I just simply re-used my old cracked/compressed ones which ended up okay, but knowing that I cheaped out doesn't give me a good peice of mind. Car works like brand new. Stiff handling again. No noise. I swear the braking power was magically better, probably due to restored weight distribution during braking.

I pulled off my old ones, kept the spring (with the help of a spring compressor), put it all together in 3 hours. Both sides. These fit without ANY trouble or retrofitting whatsoever on my 2008 RAV4 Limited. And at a fraction of the cost offered at the garage. They've lasted me almost a year so far without any trouble. If they give me any trouble, I'll be sure to let everyone know.

I have a 08 RAV4 V6 Sport, and these have brought the OEM ride back to where it was. I've had them on over a month now, and am liking the ride more and more. My first choice would have been Bilstein, but apparently they do not make them for this particular vehicle.
