Alright, I know what you’re thinkingβ€”β€œThis thing costs how much? I could just get a cheaper one!” or β€œThere’s no way this actually stops my board from sliding around.” But let me tell you, my skeptical friend, this thing works. And it comes with a few surprises. For context, my trunk has a slick weather mat, so I wasn’t expecting much. But after speed bumps, sharp turns, hard acceleration, and generally driving like a maniac, my board didn’t move at all. Not even an inch. And we’re talking about a 40lb beast of a boardβ€”yet somehow, this holder didn’t budge, even when empty.Bonus points? It fits my board with Lightning Rails, not just the standard GT ones, which was a shocker. And as a cherry on top, it even includes two little Torx keys for on-the-go maintenanceβ€”small detail, but a smart one. Now, does the material feel ultra-premium? Not really. But it’s holding up just fine, and honestly, for the sheer convenience and reliability, I don’t regret a single cent. If you want something solid from a reputable company instead of rolling the dice on some sketchy seller, this is the way to go.

Somehow this product works super well. I’ve taken roundabouts extra fast and cornered pretty hard on purpose but somehow this thing stays put. It hasn’t even slid around in my trunk and it seems highly unlikely it would flip over without something very aggressive as a catalyst.

I am now way more likely to bring my OneWheel with me in my car if I think there’s a chance I’ll ride it. The TrunkSaver is light and small and does exactly what it says it’ll do!

My pint X would bang around constantly.. drove me nuts. Didn't really like the price on this but the foam holds it solid. I got the stand and was surprised how light it was and thought "I really paid $40 for this"? After looking into the material of EVA foam. It's a high quality foam that's dense and can take a beating. So that all made up for it. The stand does not move and I can account for that as I take 5 90 degree turns every time I leave or return home. A little more on the expensive side for a stand but it's simple, light, durable, and works great. I'd say it's worth the $40.

Took advantage of the Black Friday pricing on this, but regardless even the regular price is very competitive compared to other options. This was originally a kickstarter that filled a need. My onewheel XR classic fits perfectly snug while in the back of my SUV with little to no movement. Impressive little device.

I can throw my OneWheel Pint X in the back of my truck and it doesn't move around. It seems to grip well in combination with the weight of the OneWheel.Nice protection too. Wish you could sit the board with the charger port "up" but the handle on the Pint X prevents that. Minor quibble.

This trunksaver does exactly what it is supposed to - it’s perfectly sized for the OneWheel GT and has a grippy bottom that keeps the board from sliding or rolling around in the back of my car. Feels pricey for what it is, but hard to argue with the performance.

One of the first things I noticed about transporting a Onewheel in my car was that no matter how conservatively I drove, the board would roll around in the cargo area. The noise was annoying. But my biggest concern was that it would damage the interior of my vehicle or other items in the cargo area. Enter the Landslide Trunksaver. The board fits snugly in place and doesn't roll around at all. An added benefit of them performing so well is that once the board is seated in the Trunksaver, it helps keep other gear where you want (see picture). I've seen some reviews that feel its light weight is something to complain about. But I think it's an asset. I love how easy it is to handle and stow. And since the material is soft, it flexes in a way that allows me to use one with my WTF board as well. Three XRs and three Trunksavers! You can bet I'll be getting one for my GT when they're available!

Such a simple design and probably could make my own with a 3D printer but so convenient and effective. Fits my XR with fender perfectly. Recommended and a must have.

Works exactly as it should, very stable and have had no problems with the onewheel moving around in the trunk. I've had it in the back of an empty minivan with no other objects in the trunk to hold the onewheel in place, and even after longer drives the thing is right where I left it. It's very light, seems too light at first, but the foam material has good traction when it's weighed down by the onewheel against the trunk surface. I've used it both on a carpeted trunk surface and a rubber trunk mat, worked great in both situations. Really the only possible negative I can say is that after a few uses it now gets stuck to the onewheel, probably from the weight of the rail pushing the sides of the trunk saver inwards against itself. It's not really a big deal, you can pull it off easily, just something to keep in mind because a couple times I took the onewheel out and later realized the trunk saver was still stuck on it. Just for the possibility of someone potentially trying to ride with it unknowingly stuck on the side I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, but since I can't it didn't seem fair to take a whole star off for that small issue considering it's almost half the price of the official product from Future Motion.
