Doesn't come with a 110v adapter, so out of the box it's 220 only, but I modified the old one off our Leaf and it works great. Love the delayed timer so you can charge off peak hours and the adjustable current draw is a real bonus.

If not for the cord being 5ft shorter than the other ones in the same ad, I would be extremely happy. When ordering, there were 3 models (25ft, 25ft, then this one which was only 20ft) and unless you read all the way through the descriptions, you won't see a difference. In my case it mattered, as the place I was plugging in came up about 15 inches short, so I had to do some tricky routing (through a wall). I almost returned it, but I'm glad I didn't. It works great, is as advertised and charges quicker than the one I replaced.

MUSTOP EV40AI Just purchased a new Hyundai Ionic 5. I bought the EV40A because it operates at both Level 2 and Level 1 with an adaptor. It's plug-in and portable, high power at 40A, waterproof, Wifi with an app, ETL/UL certified, and a really good price. I'm using it as level 1 until I get a 220V outlet in the garage. It's easy to use. For Level 1 installation, plug it into the 110 wall outlet, check the breaker and set the power level on the unit to equal or lower amperage. For operation, just plug the cord into the car. In my case, the car 'speaks out loud something about "charging started".After the charging is completed, or to interrupt charging, just pull the cord, the charger and the car don't seem to mind. There's a wall holder for the end plug and to loop the cord around. There's also a bracket for the controller, where you can store it. It can also live in the car when it's not in use or for traveling.

Note, standard RV 120v to 240v will not work. I had to build a custom adapter withhttps://a.co/d/e9zGbVx120v needs to go across x and y terminals. Neutral not needed to work. Ground is required for safety.Note: make sure you a heavy duty EV NMEA 240v 50a plug.https://a.co/d/iItqnGJThe plug is lager the the basic rv plugs that comes with enclosures. Had enlarge the hole.Once passed that at 30a setting, I’m charging 8.5 kw per hour. Will charge my 85ks battery pack over night from 0.One slight issue, unit arrived with 2 base mounts an no plug mount. Not really a issue for me because I can 3d print one.🥹😄A

I've had this installed on a new 240V outlet I had put into my garage for about 6 months now and it works great. No problems. I like the wall mount to place the charging end into when not in use. Everything seems pretty heavy duty and I haven't had any problems yet.

States it will charge a max of 40amps. It does not, it only charges at 32amps max. Our vehicle is a 2024 Kia EV9 capable of level 1, level 2, and level 3 charging. Bought a different level 2 charger and, as stated, does charge at the 40 amps. If you try to buy the same charger model now, Mustop now downgraded the max at 32 amps. This tells you it initially mislead the consumer of the 40 amps max (see pic). ***UPDATE: Does not charge at all now! Plugged into two different vehicles and will not charge. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT! NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT TO SEE IF THERE IS SOLUTION! TOTAL JUNK
