We damaged our blink charger connector and tried to just replace the connector but could not get it apart.Instead of cutting it off this looked like an easier solution and it was, well worth the extra $$ and worked perfectly.

High quality durable,Worked as a replacement cable for my Chargepoint charger. The color code was reversed. I had to ring the connector out with a multimeter. I'm not sure this makes a difference. Did it anyway.Charger would intermittently stop charging after the new cable was installed. I believe this was down to a intermittent ground connection. Solved this issue by tinning the cables with solder. I left enough conductor to fill the spring-loaded internal connector.

I needed a replacement charger cord and vehicle plug for my GM Voltec Level 2 J1779 charging unit. I had this unit from 2010 when I purchased my first Volt ...2011 model. The orange cord was getting worn and the handle was coming apart. I tried to find a new replacement for the unit and could not come up with anything. I looked on Amazon and found a replacement for the J1779 cord and vehicle plug from EV ChargersPlus. When I powered down the unit to replace the cord I noticed that there was 5 wires on the Voltec unit compared to the 4 on the EV Chargers replacement cord, besides they were different colors. I searched the internet from head to toe and could not find the wire color code change over. I had an electrician look at it and was told he was not sure, he thought it be best to ask the company who made it. He did not want to be responsible for the Voltec unit or worse yet the Chevy Volt being damaged. I emailed the company and called the number I found, someone even answered and was very responsive. I was told by Tautvydas Mitkus from EV Chargers Plus that they did not have the wiring diagrams for the Voltec. Tautvydas said he needed the model number and a picture of the Voltec unit to send to his technical team. Within a few days he emailed and called me with the correct wire switch over (picture 3 - Voltec to EV Charger). One terminal had to stay blank on the Voltec unit since the EV Charger replacement does not have an LED light on the handle. All the other wires I paired up with the terminals that they suggested (see the picture 3). I was not sure if it was going to work at first, but when I turned on the electric breaker and the Voltec unit had two green lights I knew it was OK. Now the real test would be if it would charge the Volt...YES it did (see picture 2 - notice the green light on the dash). I have been using the unit for over a couple of weeks on my Volt and Chevy Bolt with no problems. A special thanks to Tautvydas Mitkus from EV Chargers Plus and his team for being a stand up good company....hard to find these days. This is the first review that I have done on Amazon because I was impressed with the quality and great customer service. A 5 STAR Company....I also purchased their extension cord that works well...I recommend it if you need to have extra length. Sometimes we have may too many cars parked near the charging station Another good product.so the extension wire works well.I hope the picture of the wiring helps others. Maybe EV Chargers Plus will post the information on their website for those who own a GM Voltec unit.G TrugliaASE Master Technician, ASE L3 Hybrid EV certified, Instructor on Hybrid / EV vehicles, shop owner and technician.

Shipping & PackagingThe item came well-protected inside and out.Reason For Purchase, Product Quality & Features:I purchased this J1772 replacement cable to replace one that got accidentally ran over by my daughter. The instructions were easy to follow and the quality of this cable is amazingly durable. It does come with a thin carrying bag which really isn’t needed but it does make the user experience feel good. Oh, and they also include a nice little refresher which will definitely get used.
Nice fit. Absolutely would recommend. 👍🏻

Don’t buy this for home use. It does not have a plug for a standard receptacle.

Product is just what I wanted. I needed to switch out the Tesla cord with this lv2 charger cord for my Chevy bolt. Wiring was straight forward(do need the 10k ohm resistor if you are switching a Tesla charger) No issues what so ever, just make sure you set your Tesla charger to a max of 32 amps just in case and your good to go.

My Blink EVSE charging cable began to act up. I could wiggle the old Blink cable and it may or may not start to charge my car. I looked around and found that new 240v 30 amp EVSE are fairly expensive. So I thought I’d take a chance and try to repair the old Blink EVSE given it’s already installed on the wall. Well this new cable worked like a charm! It took less than an hour to connect this new J1772 cable to my old EVSE. I’ve not had a charging issue since. The new cable is a bit stiffer than the original one but that’s a minor issue really.

I got this to replace the cable on an old ICS 200 charger that still had the old AVCON style. It works well and the cables are labeled, the power cables looked to be 10 gauge as well. No instructions included though it did come with a carrying case.
