Looked exactly like the OEM part. Intermediate type DIY job to replace the old shaft. Most difficult part was getting the alignment right afterwards...I ended up taking to a shop, but that's on me!

For 05 Tacoma 4wd comes with one lower pinch bolt to the steering rack, have to reuse upper sleeve bolts

I bought this part thinking that it is essentially just a splined shaft. I installed it and the binding steering issue was gone but now I had play in the steering wheel. I brought it to the garage and they said it was either the new part or the rack. They told me to drive home and not drive it until fixed. I replace the part with a Toyota part. The steering play is gone and no other issues. The issue was the clevis was poor design. Driving with this part is dangerous since you could lose steering.

We have toyota tacoma and we ordered this replacement part it was heavy well made just like original part.its been in use almost a year and its just fine.My husband had no trouble installing it this is worth getting.
