Was really hoping these would be good replacements for the dry-rotted originals (over 20 years of service). I liked that these were longer for ocassions when used with fatter tubes or other times when needed a longer strap.Unfortunately, they are almost impossible to strectch over the knobs, requiring too much contortion to succeed which results in bike being too loose.

I’ve tried other replacement straps that didn’t have the flexibility to really squeeze down on the bike. These are perfect.

Very firm rubber. I can not stretch them over the knobs on the Yakima bike rack
