They’re super snug so it’s a little hard to put them on but not super hard I think I had them install in like 3 minutes and the product came with extra pieces which I didn’t know which makes the price that much better ! Since they’re snug once you get them on they are pretty much staying on which is great cause you don’t want it slipping while traveling.

Definitely worth buying to save the paint on your car from the edges of those hooks. Having said that, they may overwhelm the little bit of space the hooks have to fit in - depends on your vehicle.

These definitely helped to protect my car from damage. I like this style better then the flaps because it gives all around protection vs just protecting the section of my car under the buckle.

I've used my bike rack countless times, but the first time I used these, it bent the top of my hatchback! It's going to cost hundreds of dollars to repair the damage, and I cannot use my bike rack at all until it is repaired. Very disappointed. Also, two of them tore on the first use.

Wow - that was easy.Purchased this to soften the trunk hooks on my new bike rack. My particular rack has both the narrow and wide hood versions such I used some of each included in this purchase (6 narrow, 4 wide).I expected to have to fight and grunge to get the covers over my metal hooks - NOPE, easy peasy.My total time for 5 hooks was likely less than a minute per.One potential hack which may be of value - prior to attempting to use each cover I opened it wide with my fingers to get some air inside and unstick any potential hesitation. Not sure if it was needed, but seemed to help.No idea on longevity, etc, but I can say they arrived as advertised, were drop-dead simple, and look like they will add the car protection they are advertised for.
