Firstly, these are well made mlok push button bases and although I haven’t tested in the field yet I’m sure will work well under the following proviso. They have to be used with Blue Force Gear push button sling swivels… If you try and use Grovtec hardware they will pop off - not great. The reason is the depth of the BFG base cup is too shallow for the Grovtec to engage fully and bottoms out before the ball bearings seat. You can remedy this by grinding or milling the bottom of the GT sling base, however not ideal. I’ve just replaced with BFG sling push buttons.

Honestly they are just MLOK attachment points, need not say more, they do their job, and it isn't like I am going to be hanging from them off some random mountain side like it's Red Dawn. They work, kinda a " 'nuf said" situation

I have so many "M-lock" attachments give me fits lining up the locking tab, you all experience this (sometimes i think keymod was given the "bums rush"). Another topic...... but these guys, when set up the screw depth just clearing the handguard....magic happens. The nut turns and locks in position first time.

This one will not fit on the most mLok rifle handguards. Screws are too long. Push on the barrel. Poorly engineered.

This qd mount worked just fine on my 16” AR15. I did have to shorten the supplied bolts as they contacted my barrel when tightened, but that’s nothing a $6 hacksaw and a file couldn’t take care of. Make sure to thread on the MLOK nuts before cutting and filing so you can threads the nuts back of and keep the threads functional. For reference I have a Midwest industries slimline hand guard over a criterion core series barrel. I took about two threads off both bolts, and it gave me the clearance I needed. Not the products fault, just that my rifle is in a different configuration than expected by the manufacturer.

I’ve ordered several items from blue force gear in the past. All are quality American made items that have never disappointed. Only reason this didn’t get five stars is it was missing one of the mlok nuts to keep the mount attached. Luckily I had a spare.
