I've had some NRS straps for decades and they are still working. I needed some more for a special application of a quickly removable sunshade. These done the trick and the quality appears to be on point for NRS.

They are easier to use that a ratchet strap. Also with out the hooks there is a lower risk of scratching my paint on the roof. The only thing I would say is buy more length than you think you need. I bought two 6 ft lengths and they were not long enough to wrap around two kayaks. But, in the Spring I will definitely be buying another, longer, set of these.
