Replaced gate valves with these quarter turn ball valves. If you have soldering/sweating skills this is an inexpensive Upgrade. Remember, these type of valves should be closed and opened at least once a year for long life. Some people say exercising the valve prevents crud from building up on internal ball. I find that there’s nothing to not like about these valve stops. Recommended.
