These are great! My umbrellas withstood 30mph winds and they stayed erect. These hold umbrellas securely to the railing.

I live by the ocean and this is on a 3rd floor deck with high winds…that being said, my umbrella hasn’t moved a millimeter through the first month of use. It was easy to install and I only tightened it by hand. I found this much better for stability than the metal bases because they sometimes flipped over. This one was the best price for the kind that covered two poles, which I also felt would be better for stability. And given the design, it will fit most any size railing and umbrella sticks. I didn’t see a better one when I was shopping and I’m happy with it! My one recommendation…if you can find one in a color that matches your railing, I would choose that. The black isn’t so pretty against my white railing, but maybe I’ll paint it.

I’m 65 and single. I have a small deck on my condo that faces west and it gets the afternoon hot sun. I didn’t want a patio table to hold an umbrella and the bracket is amazing. Took less than 10 minutes to bolt it on, slide the umbrella in, tightened it up and ready!

These were packaged individually and in great condition. Spare bolts and nuts are included and they held my umbrella very sturdy.

I live in a condo, and attaching anything to the fence that could be deemed permanent is a big no-no. Besides, I really don't WANT to attach anything to the fence and damage it.We wanted to put up a shade sail over our patio, and was trying to find a way to attach a couple of poles to the fence to hold up one side of the sail. Tape was too messy, and wires too flimsy and unattractive. I was very excited to find these, and they're GREAT!!!Extremely easy to install, very sturdy, and works. I used two aluminum poles and secured one near the bottom and one near the top of the fence (it's only about 4 feet tall). They look great and get a lot of comments ("where did you find those?!??). I love that I can easily take them down for the winter if I wanted to. The coating is good and consistent; if it's not scratched up, I have no doubt they would weather the winter outdoors just fine.Highly recommended!

Very Strong and easy too install. Only thing I would add would be felts to put inside the clamps too protect the umbrella. Very good product. 👍
