Definitely not made for pulling wire to the charger.

I'm going to return this, it's NOT good.Despite the pictures talking about how "sturdy" this is, the ACTUAL thickness of the metal is quite thin and flimsy. The only thick parts are the gussets at the base. The REST of the metal is almost paper thin! There are no pre-drilles holes for mounting...anything. No holes for either the included mounting plate or the cord holder.Speaking of which, these two accessories are VERY thin. The cord holder feels incredibly flimsy and will probably NOT stand up to regular use.I do not recommend this at all. It feels very cheap and flimsy and I doubt it will withstand regular use.

A very sturdy solid charger stand. Most stand are two or more pieces but this is one piece stand which I feel is more reliable. The Tesla wall charge stand is bolted to the floor in the garage for about six months & have not had any issues. I If attaching to concrete I recommend (as others have) purchasing four new concrete bolts that are thicker & more sturdy. Other than breaking two original bolts during the install this was a positive experience.

Les soudures à la base du poteau sont horrible. La personne qui à fait l'assemblage ne savait pas soudé, un enfant aurait fait mieux!

The welds on this could have been a little better or cleaned up. Its quite sturdy for its purpose. It came with some small concrete anchors that I replaced with much larger anchors. There is a hole on the bottom that is sort of elongated but this did not come with a cover for it. I took a piece of sheet metal and then epoxied it on the inside to prevent water or pest ingress. I also bought some self tapping screws to mount the tesla charger and the wire holder. It would be 5 stars if the welds were better, it came with all covers for the hole, and better concrete anchors.

This tesla charger mount is excellent. It comes with variable of adjustable parts for different parts and has a solid metalic build. It is pretty difficult to install and you need alot of atypical tools to get it to be built. Once done. It becomes super convenient.

This EV charger pedestal is a one piece column design that is very sturdy. You will have to mount this pedestal yourself and no instructions nor mounting hardware is included because every one is going to have unique use cases for this pedestal. You'll need to have the right tools and hardware, such as masonry drill bit, a hammer drill, masonry self tapping bolts. The build quality is good with a powdered coated finish. There were some minor defects and chips but overall finish was good. For me, this was going into my parking garage stall but condo doesn't allow drilling into the stall floor so I had to resort to mounting the pedestal to a 12x12" concrete patio stone and using concrete bolts to secure. The concrete slab is almost 25lbs so I didn't worry too much about it tipping. I would have preferred a more secure mount, but the Awesafe Level 1/2 charger is not too heavy. The charger mount you also have to drill and screw into the plate. The mount is essentially compatible with all models of EV chargers. Only thing I would have like to see is a holder for the J1772 connector since my EV charger doesn't have a dock like the Autel and ChargePoint chargers have.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $119.99 with no discount/coupon being offered. Pricing is fair and generally well on point given the sizing/dimensions/quality.Works great for both consumer/commercial based purposes. Comes in a sturdy and strong design. While coated and treated for corrosion/rust prevention although based on the steel design it’s likely given enough time/exposure it’ll eventually give in. For that reason I’d recommend having it covered under shelter or overhang if possible to help extend the service life. Also don’t mount it where water collects or forms into a puddle as that’ll eventually have devastation and premature effects.Comes in a nice height and with appropriate hanging fixtures and mounting points fir your charging unit. It might not be a bad idea to make a makeshift rain/snow cover for it in where both the electrical connection points meet as well as for the whole unit itself, there are plenty of creative and cost effective approaches you can take with the right know-how.Overall a durable and sturdy well manufactured unit. Comes in a good weight, not ultra heavy and not overly light either.

The stand showed up with scratches and some dents, I ended up buying spray paint and painting it a couple times.

I only want to use products for my Tesla that will match the quality. This Pedestal is solid enough, I can't wait to have it installed.

Solid metal pole with few punchable hole for wires to go trough.Mouting plate has no hole for wire, but has small screw hole for mouting it on the pole.Wire hanger also has samll hole for scew onto the pole.Feels solid and be able to withstand all weathers. One thing I would like to see is bigger bottom foot. It does have hole for screw, but with bigger bottom foot, you may not have to screw to the ground.... I may use plywood as bottom foot.

Great product for the price. I did not use the included concrete anchors, as they were flimsy. Doesn’t say anywhere, but the ones included require a 1/2 drill bit. And requires a 2 inch holes.Ended up providing my own anchors, but apart from that, I am extremely satisfied with how it came out.

Good base for customization. Not a plug and play EV pedestal, you need to be handy with power tools and electrical knowledge to make this pedestal work. Using with a ChargePoint unit. Have a metal designated drill bit on hand as you will be drilling various holes to mount your charger. Make sure that you have adequate concrete anchors, a concrete bit and powerful hammer drill on hand as well. Mine was not received in new condition, perhaps someone before me got frustrated and kept all the hardware...This pedestal Beats the competing EV Pedestal price points if you have the ability to do minor customization work.
