4x4 fit easily in brackets with a little room to spare but the hardware provided strips easily even when mounting holes are predrilled. Hardware heads are rusting after 1 week where Phillips head screwdriver bit took off the screw’s black coating. Hardware is not hex so it was difficult to extract a stripped screw. Only 1 spare screw was provided.Update after 1 month. Corner braces are also rusting. Taking off one more star.

These should do well as long as you have them screwed in tight. They are cut a little shorter than the standard, but they also cost much less. The thickness is good though so what matters is the weld. Time will tell.
