These work very well on wide mouth mason jars to drain. I grow seedlings in mason jars to use on sandwiches and what not and these make it so much easier to water them

Works pretty good. Doesn't drain as well as the real screen type with the seeds at first but over all a good value

These lids are great! I just screw them onto my Kerr wide mouth mason jar. The jar has an opening that is 3" wide. The lid fits perfectly, made really well, great design with little feet so they don't sit flat down on the counter and you get so many for such a fair price. I always have a few batches of sprouts done and in use as well as ones on the way. I have so many lids now that I can have a variety of different seeds for salads, stir fry, sandwiches, mixed with cottage cheese etc. (mung bean is my favorite so far, very nutty, crunchy and delicious with a dash of salt and paper.) I kept 4 lids and gave 4 away as little gifts. The packaging is very nice and sturdy and a sweet little note is included as well as directions. I highly recommend these great little lids!

These lids are great! Sturdy and super easy to clean and sanitize (I just throw them in the dishwasher). They’re very well designed. The holes are just the right size; they drain really well but the seeds don’t fall thru. The little “feet” are perfect to keep the lid off the counter so when the sprouts are almost ready I just leave it flipped over on the counter and it still lets the air circulate. We have well water which is hard on metal (everything corrodes overtime) so these won’t have that problem.

They fit my wide-mouth mason jars perfectly! I already have my first crop in the jar! I’ve grown sprouts of all kinds over the years, but used small flat trays with drain holes. It took up a lot of space and was rather messy at times. This is so much easier! Very useful items!Later: some have commented about the small holes. They need to be small so that the seeds don’t go through. If you pour the water SLOWLY you won’t need to take off the lid at all until you’re ready to eat! My first harvest was really bountiful even though my seeds were three years old. I thought I would use them to try out the set up. I love that they’re plastic. I’ve tried stainless, but rust always becomes an issue, no matter how they promise that it won’t. Chemistry happens. I love them! ❤️

I had originally gotten stainless steel sprouting lids that rusted within my first 2 weeks of use. These are decent quality and seem well constructed.Pros: The little nubs so that you can place them upside down and there is room for water to run out.Cons: The holes are so small that I kind of have to shake them to get the water out. I think the surface tension of the water is such that the water won't flow out on its own, I can actually place them upside down gently and the water doesn't come out at all. Only holding at an angle will the water run out.

Originally not happy due to incorrect size and gave a 1 star review but now having found jars that fit the lids I am satisfied. These lids are same size a a lot of metal type lids listed and are 90mm in diameter however sprouts seem to grow better with plastic lidsIf product description was accurate would rate higher
