If you do not like the sprinkler effect, you can put down the sprinkling head and use long spout rod only.Then you can have a mini river water releasing from spout mouth. And the long spout allows you extra reach for plants that are behind other ones and easy for watering hard-to-reach areas. Or to get down to plants in the ground to gently water them without bending over.
The straight spout means the watering stops as soon as you lower the handle - unlike curved ones that like to keep dribbling on after you want them to stop.

Great can. It does take a lot of storage space because of the length of the spout, but it’s very lightweight even when it’s containing the water so that anyone with arthritic hands or other problems in carrying things can handle this. It’s very easy to fill. Recommended highly

Pros:-two handles-no leakage-cheapest can with long spout-with long spout, light weight, and lack of huge water storage, I can extend my arm out far to reach any plants far away (main reason I got this).Cons:-i would rather avoid plastic

I needed a watering can which would allow me to easily add amendments to water (needed a large opening into the water chamber) as well as a long reach for plants farther back in plant beds without having to step into plant beds. This watering can fills both needs very well. Moreover, the 1 gallon size is compatible with easy measuring for adding amendments to the water, and more manageable for weight and holding than a larger can. Finally, the flow from the nozzle provides a gentle shower output measuring about 6-8 inches in diameter, yet has a filter at the spout base which prevents leaves and debris from getting into and jamming the spout. Simple but just right.

This watering can is sturdy and does the job. It doesn't hold a full gallon, which can make a difference if you want to use it to mix plant food.

Love this product! Perfect for watering 2 hanging planters, the design is well balanced and super easy to fill from either a high pressure spigot or kitchen faucet. The 360 nozzle is especially good for watering more delicate flowers. Easy to store with its rectangular design. It's the simple things! Love this!

I wanted a smaller watering can with a sprinkler on it for watering pots. This is the perfect size--not so big you can.t handle it--but holds a nice amount of water. Easy to hold and pour--and the handle comes off for cleaning. The sprinkler works nicely, also. Really nice watering can for the price.

Designed well and light to use. Able to raise arm without shoulder pain. This is important for us older folks haha.
