Ordered a pair three weeks ago. Installed first one and it worked well for about two days with an output voltage of 0.57 VDC initially measured at the hookup terminals on the millivolt connectors on the gas regulator to my fireplace logs. Two days later the pilot was still lit but burner flame would not ignite when I switched it on and pilot extinguished simultaneously. Relit pilot and output voltage had dropped to 0.22 VDC. At that point I assumed the regulator was faulty and I replaced it with a new Robertshaw 710-052. Installed the second thermopile and everything worked again with initial output voltage of 0.62 VDC. Again I operated my fireplace logs for two days until suddenly the flame and pilot extinguished again. I relit pilot and the thermopile output voltage had again fallen to 0.2 VDC. I checked the resistance of the second thermopile disconnected and measured 12-13 mega ohms. I believe the proper resistance should be about 1000 mega ohms. I conclude these thermopiles are defective and I am returning them.

Product came as described. My ANET 14GS deep fryer suddenly stopped working. Found out the pilot was off. Tried reigniting but it would no stay lit. Usually it's the thermopile that caused this according to my research. So I replaced it and it is working again. Easy to fix. I flipped the fryer on the side, removed the bottom panel (4 screws) and have access to the thermopile mount. Unscrew the old one, pull it out and replace. Rewire, and you are done. Max 30min.
