Sturdy. Sits close to body. I got the 35 lb version. Probably could have got the 25lb one. I am 5’6 around 130. Its plenty a workout with only 20 pounds.

This vest is very well made and the design is one of the best I have seen. I wanted a vest that I could vary the weight and that would last a long time so I could burn more calories. I purchase this 25 pound vest and started with 7 pounds. I increase the weight by 4 pound every two weeks and now up to 19 pounds. I was only losing 1 pound per week without the vest by walking 3 miles for 1 hour per day. Since I started using the vest for the same distance and time I am losing 3 pounds per week. Very nice all-around vest. Did I mention that I am 73 years old and have lost over 31 pounds in 4 months so far?

Had an older 50lb vest but it was one of those with all the little bags of sand and it was long almost going to my waist. Upgraded to this to have a vest that was more functional with workouts and allowed more mobility. Love this vest so much more.It fits great, has enough padding, and stays snug and doesn't chafe. Really happy with the purchase and since its more functional, I've been able to wear a weight vest for more of my workouts. Just thrilled and would recommend.

this fits very well compared to a 'plate' vest that I have, 20kilos was a lot but I can remove a few while I work up to that, it fits very snug and has room for adjustment - love that I am more mobile and able to do other excises with it on

I wish the head hole was a little larger as it is hard to put on when fully loaded with weights and it can squish your ears pretty good. Maybe line the strap sides with a softer material? Apart from my head being to big the vest works great and is very versatile with the adjustable weights. It is HEAVY which is what I was looking for. I can wear this on walks with the wife to get more of a workout in.

I really love this vest. Overall construction quality is top notch. The weight is perfect and not super bulky like my old vest that used sand weights.The shoulder straps are thick and comfortable for prolonged use, and the size is perfect above the bellybutton like a half-shirt. This keeps it out of the way of your belly if bending over.My only "complaint" is the design of the belt. It comes with a really nice quick release buckle, bit the strap that the buckle is on is backs by velcro. So the velcro anchors it in place making it impossible to cinch it any tighter. Is should be only velcro, or no velcro and only buckle with belt loops, bit not both.Because of this it's quite difficult to get that perfect tight fit.But still, suoer happy with it and use it several times a week. Would absolutely recommend. This thing is built to last.
