Works great for a toy or a costume, though the quality of the look reflects the price. As long as it holds together, we will have no complaints. My 12yo bought it for himself to play with and is having fun with it. He hasn’t complained about the balance and seems happy.

Read product dimensions carefully. It is appropriately sized for an average person to wield in one hand, and small for a larger person. The product dimensions are accurate, I simply didn't read them carefully.That said, the quality and feel are absolutely perfect.
