Bought this for my Tesla. It came with an adapter so I can charge not only MY tesla but also my Mach E. This was one of the least expensive chargers and works absolutely GREAT.

Easy to set up and use. About half as fast as my full power 40 amp wall unit but I cant carry that one around with me in the car like I can with this on. Definitely nice to have in your trunk so you don’t get range anxiety on road trips.

I’ve been using our current EV charger for over 7 years and thought it was time to switch over to a new one. Especially since we have recently added a 2nd EV to our household. I wouldn’t want to be down a charger. The TopWeb charger checked all the boxes of features I was looking for and so I ordered. Thanks to Amazon Prime it arrived in a couple of days.The features that were MUST haves were- 240 volt plug (Aka dryer plug)- ”Smart” features and a app- Long cord- Portable (nice to have)The TopWeb charger had all the above and then a few more great features. When you receive the charger - make sure you are at home to receive. In my case, the charger arrived in the TopWeb box so anyone could see that you have a expensive charger at your front door. When I opened the box, the following items were there for me- Zip up carry case that housed all of the EV charging goodies- Heavy Duty - well made charger○ Has 240 volt plug○ J1772 charge head○ Digital display on the charger- J1772 -> Tesla charger head adaptor- 240 volt plug head to normal wall outlet plug adaptor- J1772 charge head wall holder- Wall holder to house the charger- Various drywall plugs & mounting screws to install the holders- Instruction manualsAs I have a 240 plug in the garage, I unplugged the current charger and then installed the new charger in less than 15min. It was very easy since and straight forward. When you plug in the charger the digital display comes to life and shows you all sorts of information that personally I love to GEEK out with. Ie input power, output power, amperage etc. I tried the charger with a Tesla using the included adaptor and no issues with charging. I also tried charging out other EV that has a J1772 plug and it also started to charge up with no issues. After a week of use, there was no difference in the charge times that I was used to from our previous charger. We will continue to use the TopWeb as our daily charger and pack away our previous charger to be a “back-up”.I’ll give the TopWeb charger a 5/5 stars as it can be a permanent charger installed in your garage and the bonus is that it can easily be packed up and and brought along on a trip to be used at a rental cottage or airbnb etc.

The TopWeb Electric Vehicle Charger for Tesla: Level 1 & 2 J1772 40A 9.4KW 110V 240V is a winner.It can handle regular outlets on Level 1 and 220V outlets for Level 2 if you have one available.The J1772 fits our Nissan Leaf and there is an adapter for Tesla.The Smart Home app is becoming a standard for all sorts of devices now, so I already have it on my phone and this charger was easily added.Definitely recommend this charger.

This adapter is easy to set up, and it can be monitored through the app or on the charger's screen. It supports Level 1 charging using an included standard plug adapter or Level 2 charging in a 14-50 outlet. It also comes with an adapter so that it can work with either J1772 or Tesla plugs. The included cable is 25 feet long which will stretch to either side of my two-car garage. The interface on the charger is simple, with single buttons to change the current and the timer. This is good to help optimize charging efficiency and cost when electricity rates vary. The app pairs in moments through the app, and it is intuitive to monitor and switch charging modes. This is a great value for a versatile charger.

I have a Level 2 charger in my carport. I had it introduced alongside a 240v outlet rather than hard-wiring it. I turned off it, connected this charger, and associated it to my Kona. It started charging right away. The Kona's scramble show showed that it was getting a similar kWh from this convenient charger as it does from my wall-mounted. Everything required is pressed into a zippered texture conveying case. I eliminated a few things from the case as I won't utilize them. These incorporate a Tesla connector that changes the J1172 over completely to Tesla and things that are intended to permit you to mount the charger to a wall for all time.

This charger was able to do two full sessions before receiving "charging unsuccessful" announcements from my KIA EV6. Its only redeeming quality is that it stopped working prior to the end of the return window. Junk!

I ordered this Portable Level 1&2 EV Charger (240V,40A,9.6KW) Current Adjustable with 25ft Charging Cable as a replacement for the Level 1 charger that came with my Hyundai Kona EV.Most EVs come with a 120v Level 1 charger. It takes an interminably long time to get an EV charged up with a Level 1 charger, but you should be able to get enough of a charge overnight to make it to a proper charging station. This charger, when operated at 120v, will work no differently from any other Level 1 charger. If you have access to a 240v source, though, this charger will shine.I have a Level 2 charger in my garage. I had it installed along with a 240v outlet instead of hard-wiring it. I unplugged it, plugged in this charger, and connected it to my Kona. It began charging immediately. The Kona's dash display showed that it was getting the same kWh from this portable charger as it does from my wall-mounted Blink.Everything needed is packed into a zippered fabric carrying case. I removed several items from the case as I will not use them. These include a Tesla adapter (that converts the J1172 to Tesla) and items that are designed to allow you to permanently mount the charger to a wall.Many "smart" devices require you to download some sort of proprietary app. This charger uses the popular and proven SmartLife app. I found that the charger was immediately recognized by SmartLife and connected seamlessly. Practically speaking, though, you can set all necessary parameters directly on the charger without using the app. The app is useful if you are planning to use this charger as your primary home charger. For taking it on the road, though, plan to rely on setting parameters directly on the charger as you will probably not have access to WiFi.I was quite impressed with the overall build quality of this charger. The cables are thick and heavy. The charger and cables are UL certified.

Most chargers that can operate at level 1 are very basic so it's kind of cool to see app support with this one. We only tried this as a level 1 charger because we don't have any accessible 14-50 plug, and honestly I think this is best used as a portable charger for when you're elsewhere away from home anyway but would like something a bit more advanced/flexible than a basic charger that came with the car. It's pretty intuitive to use even without having to resort to the app thanks to the screen, but the app support is better than I expected. I appreciate that it doesn't need yet another single purpose random app and uses Smart Life (which we already use for all sorts of other IoT things), you get all of the basic functionality you expect through it. A bit on the pricy side compared to comparable chargers from a basic functionality standpoint without the fancy screen or the app support.

Works great. We have two EV's. I can use it for my Tesla and my other EV, a Hyundai. It comes with an adapter for the Tesla.
