I bought this in May to prepare for my son's season. We just now put it on his pads and used it twice, the strap to connect to the pads has completely broken off from the back plate side. So essentially I would have to sew this piece back to the back plate which is not in my wheel house and I'm afraid it would just come apart again. Not too thrilled that I now have to find another one.

This company had better designs just wasn’t sure about their quality. Product arrived and graphics are great and padding is good quality.

I ordered this back plate for my 12 yr. old, he LOVES it. This back plate is very sturdy adding additional protection and it fits perfect with his shoulder pads. I would recommend this brand to anyone who have young athletes
