Purchased for a roof rack system made from 2” square aluminum. The fit was very poor and could easily fall off while driving, it fits too loosely. Added several layers of anti slip tape to the inside of the cap. Hopefully it won’t come off now.

I would have preferred a slightly tighter fit, but they work OK. I am able to drive down the road with one of these on the back of a 2 x 2 tube trailer hitch that sticks out of my car & this softens the blows to my shins pretty well.
