Pressure canner recipes have different weights for different foods. This is a simple way to adjust it to make sure its working for your specific recipe. Its so simple too! Its just a slightly tighter fit on the greater pressure settings. It worked for me and I don't see how it could ever break. I can recommend this product.

Does what I want it to do. Just took so long to get here. Glad it made it. Shame no stock kept here in Australia. Maybe keep a few here in stock instead of importing them one at a time.

I ordered 2 of these weighed pressure regulators along with their matching vent stems to try them on my 2 American Canners & my 2 National canners. Absolute perfection fit & they work great. I'll definitely be ordering more & all my canners will be up & working safely once again. Great price & they arrived fast.

We have had our All American pressure canner for years and have used it a LOT.My concern has always been whether someone will accidentally misplace or lose the pressure weight. This would render the pressure canner useless.This is exactly what I needed for peace of mind. It seems to be the exact same as the original one that came with the pressure canner.This is the perfect replacement for the unit and was not at all expensive.Definitely a welcome addition to our kitchen! Hopefully we'll never need to use it.
