We've been using plastic slow feeders for years and they are honestly just a bit gross. This is so easy to keep clean! And the black rubber ring is easy to remove and replace too.

I was shocked by the size of the bowl, but honestly it works great for our new puppy. He would scarf down his food and this causes him to slightly slow down a bit. I love how it metal. My sister has some plastic ones for her dogs but I love how this is metal so he can’t chew it up. It also sits nicely to the ground so it would be difficult for him to even attempt to chew it. It holds a lot of food. I think it said 3 cups (we don’t need that much) so it spreads our puppy’s food out enough that he has to work to get it out.

Stays put on the floor, easy to clean, and large enough and deep enough to slow the dog down a good amount. Great quality steel as well.

This dish is shallow, the saving grace is that its wide. I use this for my Corso. He gets 1 & 3/4 cup kibble, and it barely holds that much. Add in all the extra stuff I give him and it *just* works for the intended purpose. If you feed 2+ cups at a time, this dish is likely not for you.
