They come put together. They are sturdy wood and made with high quality wood. They are Smooth and have no splinters. The rubber on the bottom makes them not move around at all. They are a bit larger than I expected but I am glad. They hurt my hands doing certain moves but I think that is more just me working on my form.

These helped me get back to doing push-ups by minimizing shoulder impingement pain. Expensive for what it is, but the craftsmanship is nice and they're the perfect shape.

If you do pushups, these will help you improve the results.You will not only get a deeper extension, you can turn them to different angles to work different parts of your arms, shoulders and back.Yes, there is more to pushups that a tricep workout.There are rubber pads on the bottom of them to help prevent them from slipping around.These are made from Beechwood and are plenty strong enough for darn near anybody. I see that they come in 3 sizes and after measuring what I got - I have the large ones.If you are into exercising, these are well worth the money and a good value.
