I bought these for potty training for new pup. Place them on exit doors and put your dog’s paw on the bell and say “outside” or “potty” and it won’t take a week before they learn to tap them to go out!

Like in so many other places, we get porch pirates stealing deliveries, even tho we have a gate across the front of the porch. I got the cow bells to securely string from the gate and make lots of noise when someone opens it. Hoping that will scare the porch pirates away!

So I purchased these for a totally different reason than they were probably intended. I have a small cherry tree that I look forward to harvesting the sweet cherries every July but unfortunately, my house backs on a forest and I get every critter possible in my backyard, including pesky, squirrels and birds that tend to climb the tree and eat all of my cherries before I can pick them. These bells are a game changer! They immediately start ringing when the animals get into the tree and the animals immediately dismissed themselves from the tree. My only issue now is my neighbours are asking me if I’m hearing bells somewhere and they just can’t figure out where it is coming from!

Put a bell on a strap or collar on the neck of an animal, and you can keep track of where it is. I have prettier-sounding bells, but this is perfectly fine for the job.Took one star off because it is not one of those gorgeous cast brass tuned bells from Switzerland. Still has a good sound, and can save your life if a mean animal sneaks up on you and tries to harm you.

Set on a counter in the barn for a couple weeks before I put them on my goats. One was laid over on side and had corroded/started to rust already. Sound is good, not sure about the metal and how long they'll last.
