Love the subtle look of these. My boyfriend actually thought I found laser etched trashcans!

Don't know how durable these will be but assuming they don't start to peel, they look like they were originally mounted to our stainless steel trash bin. Easy to install but be careful with the "Trash" decal, one of the vertical lines shifted during the transfer and we didn't risk trying to reset it. It's not a very noticeably shift so all good. Would buy again.

These are great stickers!! I got XS ones for my trash cans and they’re the perfect size. Definitely seem to hold up well and are waterproof!

Perfect addition for my new (travel trailer) trash/ recycle bins. I purchased a set of small trash cans at Costco but wanted to designate them for trash and recycle use. After a brief search I found these stickers. They're perfect. Subtle and high quality. Easy to apply, and they look great. Nuf said :^)

This is the worst transaction I have ever encountered on Amazon. The stickers arrived and they are NOT metallic. They are grey with a metal shine pattern printed on white vinyl. Really cheap looking and awful. I put them on until I can find something else. REALLY disappointed and angry about this. Check out the pics. Not worth the money. Embarrassing for the seller.

Color is more of a shiny bronze then brown. Stickers were easy to apply.

My household has at least as much recycling as trash each week. Since decent dual-compartment trash cans cost >$200, we ended up with two identical regular trash cans. Then we started doing the dance - reach your foot toward the one can's pedal, then change your mind and reach for the other, step on it, realize it was the wrong one after all, step on the other one, toss the item in and throw up your hands in mild frustration. We got very good at this dance - somehow the brain power required to associate trash and recycling with left and right was just too much for us, let alone any guests that come over. I was thinking about painstakingly hand-painting labels on with nail polish, but then I thought there must be a less time-consuming and better-looking solution. This is it! These vinyl decals are small and understated, they look nice in our black-and-stainless kitchen, and they communicate clearly without being tacky or condescending. Don't be intimidated by the application process, at least for the small decals. They come with a URL to an instructional video - just watch that and follow the instructions exactly, take your time and use a toothpick or other small object to gently nudge down any parts that want to lift up with the backing. Once applied according to instructions, these things are really stuck on! Ours get wiped down daily with no signs of wear, peeling, or collecting anything gross. They've been on for a month and still look brand new. Being made of die-cut vinyl sheet, they're not exactly eco-friendly, but I feel better knowing they're pretty much permanent. I was debating between the smallest size and the second-smallest size, and I'm glad I chose the 2.75" size. Bigger would have been fine too, but I like the look of these small ones.

I originally purchased these stickers to label a new dual bin stainless steel trash can I purchased. Unfortunately with the way these stickers are designed, it was easy for them to get messed up and tangled in their own stickiness, especially for a couple of the smaller, inner pieces. Your best bet is to put them directly on the trash can immediately after pulling them off the sheet. Overall they look pretty decent though. After I finished untangling them and counting my losses, I ended up deciding that I'd prefer to leave my trashcan with a clean look and the the stickers would be unnecessary. Decent stickers for a decent price in the end - just be sure to be very careful when applying.

Pros:Beautiful. I purchased the metallic looking ones to go on the inside of the lid on my stainless steel Simplehuman recycle/rubbish combo bin. My guests have a very attractive way to see which item goes in which side of the bin. They look great, and have been holding up very well.Cons:A little bit of a learning curve getting the transfer stickers on. My issue was that you're supposed to know which side is the "backing paper" and which side is the sticker-back. They're not labeled or color coded, so I had to just take my best guess. My method:- I taped a level line using painters tape all the way across the surface where I wanted the stickers to live so that they're both the same height- I taped the transfer sticker (white side down) to the bin using long pieces of vertical painter's tape, measuring to ensure they sat in the middle of each bin- I lifted the left side of the sticker up, and peeled away the white backing, then CAREFULLY cut the extra white backing off with tape- I laid the exposed sticky sticker part down on the bin surface, gave it a rub with my fingers, then CAREFULLY peeled off the vertical painter's tape holding the whole thing down, and gently pulled the rest of the white backing off.- Next, I laid the rest of the sticker down, and rubbed all over the top layer with a credit card using light pressure like you're using a squeegee.- Last step was carefully peeling the top sticker-back off the transfer sticker, making sure no little bits of the transfer sticker tried escaping. If it started to, I laid the whole thing back down and rubbed some more with the credit card before trying it again.- Wash, rinse, repeat on the other side with the other sticker and done!
