One of my most valued purchases for the chicken coop. It works seamlessly, easy to install, and no problems during the winter months. It was easy to install, good quaility, sturdy, and a life saver....keeps me from having to open in the am and close they up at night. I have not had one glitch since we installed this. If you have a coop this is a MUST HAVE!!!

This thing is awesome, and does a great job. I've been impressed by how reliable it is! Every once in a while, it won't open in the morning (I think the batteries are nearly dead, but I'm on the ORIGINAL batteries from 2 years ago!), but it has only ever failed to open, but never failed to close, which is the important part! The chickens are totally fine if they can't run around the yard sometimes.I will say, the app is interesting. I expected it to connect via Bluetooth or something, but instead, you program it on your phone, and then your phone screen does a strobe light that transmits the data to the device, reprogramming it. Different, but pretty clever if I say so myself! I'm sure it saves a ton on power, and is the reason the 2x AA batteries last for years!I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to automate their chickens and keep them safe!

TLDR: battery life sucks and the customer service is awful. Guarantee is garbage.This worked great for 6ish months. I was disappointed it couldn’t work at all with apps and the button wasn’t quite as user friendly as some but once used to it it wasn’t bad.After 6 months the batteries started dying fast and faster. After a year the batteries needed monthly changes. Now it flat doesn’t work and it’s been 13 months. Not worth the money. I own another brands door and it was cheaper, works better and for longer. I am reaching out to chicken run in hopes my door was a lemon and they fix the issue. I will update if that happens but as of now I would never recommend this product.Update: The customer service is minimum at best. They have a phone number but refuse to help at all except via email so I’m not sure the point of the phone.The email slows it down drastically and they require you to troubleshoot and send multiple videos and photos of various things and go back and forth with them. When I told them I didn’t want to go purchase more batteries to make it run since I was already out the cost of the door and two packs of batteries to make it run in the past month they said it was required. So I’m off to spend more money in hopes then they’ll stand behind their so called “guarantee”.I have another door I bought before this one by a company called chicken guard. 10/10 regret not getting that one instead. Only switched since this one was actually higher rated and supposed to be fancier.Update: they don’t stand behind their guarantee at all. After a month of back and forth frustrating emails they say it’s a user problem and not their problem basically. I’ve sent videos. Tried to call. Photos. Cleaned all the way around the door and completely reinstalled it. Basically they don’t want to fix the issue. So I’m out the money.RUN. DO. NOT. BUY.

Väldigt nöjd med att den faktiskt fungerar.Däremot så upplever jag att jag har blivit väldigt vilseledd med att den ska vara appstyrd. Min tanke med appstyrd har varit ett helt annat tänk, det här känns mer som att de bara försökte fixa en app "för att".Jag köpte den här av ett rent intresse att jag ska kunna stå inne och trycka på en knapp i telefonen för att se att luckan öppnas/stängs.Det fungerar inte så, det enda man kan göra är att ställa in tid när den ska öppnas och stängas alt gå via dagsljus. Man sätter sedan mobilen emot luckan och det ska fungera (följ instruktionerna) men vi blev så fruktansvärt besvikna på att appen är helt onödig.Vi har än så länge enbart haft -4° och det fungerar fortfarande. Ska bli spännande då graderna droppar mera.

Qualitativ und Preis-Leistungstechnisch erfüllt es zu 100% seinen Zweck und kann nur empfohlen werden.Bitte beachtet das via APP nur eine Programmierung möglich ist und keine Fernsteuerung. Die Einstellungen werden dann via Lichtcode an das Tor übermittelt

J'ai déjà eu plusieurs portes automatiques de poulailler ( dont une tirée avec une ficelle qui se bloquait souvent en fermeture ) et celle-ci me semble de loin la meilleure . Attention à ne pas la confondre avec les contefaçons qu'on trouve pour 30 € sur amazon et qui n'ont aucune solidité.Le montage est extrèmement simmple : il suffit de la visser, rien d'autre à installer.Le paramétrage est également très facile. Je l'ai fait par l'application smartphone : on fait les réglages souhaités sur l'appli (ouverture/fermeture par lumière du jour, ou réglage de l'heure,...) et on transmet directement à la porte (c'est la première fois que je voyais ce système mais ça a parfaitement fonctionné )Après 3 semaines de fonctionnement, aucun problème à signaler.

UPDATE: January 18th 2024-we had a cold spell and some rain that froze the door shut for a few days. My partner and I would carefully pour water on the sides of the door to unfreeze it, but it would freeze back by the time the door had to open or close again. After a few days of this, I thought we had broken the door because the light was no longer coming on and the motor had stopped working. We changed out the batteries which caused the light to blink different colors but didn’t get the motor going again. I called customer service before purchasing another, and they instructed me to wipe down the battery terminals with an alcohol swipe (basic maintenance) and see what happens. It’s running again like new! This is a quality product that can hold up to even the dumbest of user abuses. I was fully ready to purchase a new one because if we broke it, it would have been our fault but it seems we’re still in the clear!UPDATE: still working well in December 2023!This door looks nice and was easy to install. One of the screw heads did break off while I was trying to attach the door to the coop, which made me nervous about the quality of the rest of the door, but so far it seems to be nice and sturdy and is working as intended. I tested the door on my hand and it came down slowly yet forcefully on me which had me very nervous that it could crush one of my chicks. Well, low and behold earlier tonight two of my chicks decided they wanted to roost right in the door as it closed on them… and somehow they’re fine. I’m not really sure how it didn’t crush them since the door seemed to be VERY strong when it came down on me… but my dumb little chicks were just sleeping there with the door halfway closed on them without a care in the world. They didn’t even want to move when I came outside freaking out thinking they were dead and opened the door manually for them. So far, I’m happy with this product and I hope it continues to work as it is now without any issues.

Deze is redelijk prijzig maar je krijgt dan ook kwaliteit, aluminium deurtje met waterdicht bedieningspaneel en degelijk motortje.In te stellen met slechts 1 drukknop, open /toe , instellen op uur of licht/donker. Zie youtube voor duidelijke installatie.Nu 6 maand in gebruik en werkt zoals het hoort, geen zorgen meer of de kippen veilig zitten s avonds en s morgens kunnen ze weer gezellig rond scharrelen zonder dat je vroeg uit je bed hoeft te komen.Bij de installatie van het deurtje op het kippenhok opletten dat je de schroeven niet te vast draait, het deurtje moet nog steeds makkelijk kunnen open en toe gaan!De info zegt dat de batterijen 1 jaar mee gaan, ik heb ze na 6 maand vervangen voor de zekerheid omdat het deurtje niet was open gegaan s morgens.Er bestaat ook een app voor, deze is erg handig om het uur van openen en sluiten in te stellen.Opletten met goedkope namaak versies, deze zijn van plastiek met een motortje dat nauwelijks krachtig genoeg is om het deurtje te openen! Zie youtube voor meer info.Update,Na 6 maand in gebruik duikt er een 1ste probleem op... deurtje blijft s morgens gesloten, ondanks het al 10u en erg klaar was. Batterijen waren reeds vervangen. Na instellen op tijd werkt het terug, afwachten of dit zo blijft.
