When I remodeled my kitchen several years back, I used this type of "push to open" cabinet door latch. A recent "upgrade" prompted me to add a couple of more cabinets. They work great.

It works fine. Just make sure you have the male and female parts in line.

This is an identical replacement for the broken one on my furnace closet. Works great.

We were so happy to find this cabinet touch latch. It arrived before expected and is a perfect replacement (and is of the same good quality) for our 45 year old broken latch.

Not the best material but it works for the time being. One already broke after a month of use. So I swapped it out with an existing latch and used these latches for less used cabinets since it will malfunction with everyday use. I wish they sold the versions from UK, which I am unsuccessful in locating.

Bought these for replacements, they work and appear to be the same as the originals.

Easy to install, you can amaze your friends with the magic opening drawer, cabinet door or anything you can come up with. It works great just allow the right spacing for the door to travel our you will make onetime door closing. This may be a good thing, skeletons will never be seen again.Tom

I first started using these touch latch catches many years ago when I was building a set for a children's touring show for a theatre. I then started using them in my home. These are excellent in hallways. They allow you to use just a push pad, I use tiles glued to the doors, and not have any knobs exposed that can catch on either people of things going down the hallway.
