I like going up in the trees when I'm hunting and this makes it a much more comfortable experience.

My husband is a big guy, standing at 6 ft 2 and about 300 lb, so I struggle finding good equipment for him for hunting. This tree saddle worked out great for him! When I asked him what he liked so much, he said that it's easy to get in and out of, it's roomy enough for him to fit, and he feels comfortable. He has been using this to get up in trees to get branches as well as hunting, and it served both purposes great.

This is a great saddle, whether it is for hunting, or tree work. You can feel very secure, This thing is well-made. it is very easy to get into, and really no way to fall out of it. It is very portable, there are even pouches specifically designed to carry it. It folds up very small, and tucks away, until you need it. Then, it is very quickly deployed, put on, and you can hook to the crane, or whatever you need to. Very secure attachment points, nice quiet material, looks great, perfect for hunting. Great product, great price, very well-made, does exactly what it is supposed to. Highly recommended.

Tree saddles aren't famous for being the most comfortable seating, but as far as hunting saddles go, this one is decently easy on the bottom. It boasts extra length and width than most others, and that makes a difference in comfort and accommodating those of greater weight and height. It also has four points of adjustment to customize it best to your fit. It is sturdily made with durable materials that give peace of mind considering all you trust to this device. The four caribiners with double fastening saety rope are truly high grade. It feels secure, and that makes me feel secure in it. It is easy to pack, too, storing compactly and weighing only 20 ounces. It's a wonderful accessory to take on your next hunting trip.

This seat is well-made, well-constructed, and designed to provide optimal comfort while seated in a tree. It's lightweight and pleasant. My legs and my bag are not bothered by it, and it is quite comfy. This replaces a saddle that costs twice as much but appears to be made with the same quality. The ropes and stitches are quite sturdy. maneuvered around the tree without any problems, and entering with it on didn't present any difficulties. Before heading into the jungle, I tested this out on a tree in my backyard, and I would strongly advise people to do the same. To provide me with even more comfort when hunting, I also have a back support that attaches to the saddle. It's a reasonably priced way to improve the comfort of your hunting experience. I truly enjoy this saddle, and when hunting from the tree, I felt very secure.

Defective stitching on load bearing parts. If you decide to purchase after reading this review - please make sure you at least ground test. I performed a test load using a linesman around a tree, 3 ft above the ground. As soon as I loaded it, the stitching all began to rip out. I did not attempt attaching a load on the bridge or to hang from it, as the stitching had already compromised in a way I deemed unsafe. The stitching design needs revision. I'm not sure if its the way it was stitched, the thread that was used, or a combination of both... but the stitching rips out very easily.Mfg was gracious to send a second unit out and allow a second opinion, but it wasn't any better, the stitching ripped with only a few lbs of force. The mfg has been very good to work with, was diligent to reach out and try and correct the issue. The mfg states the belt loop hoops are unable to bear loads. I typically hang bags off my waist loops to hold carabiners, ropes, and rappels.MFG claims to be working on a revised design. Hopefully that one will work better.

When I got the first version of this product, the one I received was pretty poorly made. The company reached out and heard my concerns and sent another that actually did have upgraded stitching on it. It wasn't the same product hoping for better results. They listened and fixed the stitching issues. The second one I received is built much more solidly. I am very impressed that a company actually listened to the reviewer and made good on the product. I updated the pictures as well. While you can still read the original review below, you can see here in the pics that I have a 15lb weight hanging off the daisy-chain section of the saddle and there are no rips at all now. They've done well with upgrading the stitching on both this section as well as the loops that the lanyard clips onto. I'm quite impressed and I hope they roll out with this new stitching for every saddle they sell. I will use this saddle this fall. I've hung around the back yard with it and there are no issues now that they've revisited the threading issues of the first model.Original review: I've been looking forward to getting into saddle hunting and have been eagerly waiting to find one on vine that would work out. This came up and I jumped on it. When I first went out back to test it for review, the instant I put it on and put weight on it, I heard a rip. I noticed that the threading around the hip loops ripped a bit. Now they did hold because there was enough stitching from top to bottom to hold my weight of 185lbs, but the fact that I heard some ripping on both sides had me very concerned. I then tested the daisy chain looping on both the top and bottom for weight bearing to see if it could hold gear at all. Almost every loop I put much of any weight on, the threading spread and ripped out which is not good. The threading is the only real issue that I see with the thing. I dare not test it any higher in a tree than just a couple feet. I would not put my life in the hands of this saddle. They need to work on the stitching to make it overall more solid and secure so there is no risk of failure. I'm extremely glad I tested it at ground level before climbing up 30 feet into a tree and putting weight on it to hear that same ripping noise which would have terrified me to no end.It needs work and hopefully the company revisits it's manufacturing plant to revise the stitching to make it more secure. If not for the stitching horrors, the saddle itself is quite spacious and comfortable and the clips work well. The lanyards are solid and the clamps securely close. The design and size is fine. The stitching is this items downfall and that stitching is the only thing there to keep you safe, so that needs to be top notch.
