Good ski socks - nice fit almost feel like a compression sock but after a couple of washes there are already a lot of runners and they feel less plush than when new.

I was pleasantly surprised by this brand of wool socks; the wool is comfy and cushioning despite it being a slightly thinner sock than my other wool socks. They are pretty long, enough to cover almost my entire calf when fully put on, which makes for a fantastic hiking sock or just a sock for something like shoveling a driveway. I also wear them all day around the house since I've got colder feet than normal and work a sit down job all day, and they do not distract nor get too cold nor too hot. This would be a good sock for someone who wants to have the comfort of a wool sock while not being too thick that you're always aware of it during activities. Essentially an extra pair of everyday socks that also happen to be super comfy.

Took these snowboarding and they provide all the comfort, support and moisture protection beyond any other sock I've used and really like how they look too. Totally worth it!

Real merino wool. Look nice and totally as expected. However if you have wide calves these are not for you. They are super soft , thick material and warm.

I’m going to hopefully save people some time on their search for the best socks ever with this review…When I moved out of Florida and back home to western NY I couldn’t get away with sandals all year around, my feet were bummed. I set out to find the best socks I could to make it up to them. Started with a little bit of everything from TJ Maxx to sporting goods stores. I ended up reading reviews on Amazon and buying 12 more promising brands.I found some good socks along the way… my issues were they’d either be rough and rip easy, soft and leave remnants all over my feet and then shrink or disfigure with basic washes, they wouldn’t last. I wanted socks that held to my feet without overhangs or extra material.I started reading more about merino wool for a hike I had coming up and when searching Amazon and it led me to Samsox. I bought one pack of their hiking socks based on a gamble and some good reviews.I was very happy with the fit out of the pack. There was something different with these. They formed to your feet like they were built around a mold just for you. Whatever the mixture of fabric they had developed to go with the merino wool made so the socks stretch easily but also retract in and hug your feet perfect without being too tight. No floppy ends at the toes or wide heals that roll up in shoes. They fit like a wetsuit of wool. The merino wool controls temp and wicks moisture in cold or hot weather. I took them hiking for 30 miles over 3 days and the difference was incredible. I ended up giving the second pair to my hiking buddy on day 2. I was pretty sure I found my new hiking socks for life so came home and ordered another pack. I’ve been wearing the same 3 pairs for 18 months now. If they’re clean I choose them every time. They’ve never ripped or disfigured and I wash them all the time, the fabric feels as thick as the day I bought them.Those socks are great for summer and even into winter but needed something longer for high boots when outdoors. Saw they came out with snowboard socks and ordered a pair. Again they seem to have figured it out… These are amazing in every way. You wouldn’t think it’s hard to make good socks, but after trying so many brands it seems like it’s harder than most think. Feet are diverse, so I think with Samsox the magic is in their fabric and the merino wool blend. Never really found another pair that hug your feet perfect like these do.I hope this helps anyone that values comfortable quality socks to give these a try. They are definitely worth it!

You’d think there wasn’t much to review about socks, but, wow, these are socks! I seriously cannot wait to use them snowboarding. The merino wool is super soft and padded. The socks are warm and comfortable, not scratchy like standard wool. The knitting and stitching are high-quality and I’m intrigued by the seam-free sewing on the toes that it advertises. I like that they are fully transparent about where the materials are from and where they are assembled – you can tell from the color of the packaging. These are 100% USA wool and made in the USA. You can tell from the packaging that this company takes pride in its product. Actually made me proud to have purchased it. Strange, I know. These will also be great hiking boot socks and appear that they will last a long time with heavy use. Definitely worth the cost. Would buy again.

Merino Wool is an excellent material for a myriad of applications. It is wool, but not the scratchy material when you think of wool. Merino wool is a very fine fabric which does an excellent job of moisture wicking and maintaining warmth while being soft and wrinkle free against your skin. These socks are not 100% merino wool, but feel like it. The other materials are probably to help these socks maintain their shape over multiple wearings. My, well, now “our”, since my wife has taken one pair for herself, use for these was not snowboarding, but for motorcycle boots which get cold in the winter and hot in the summer. They are very comfortable and are thick enough to provide good cushioning and comfort while not being bulky. Surprisingly warm, they work well in regular hiking boots and do a good job of wicking the moisture from your feet which happens if you are wearing waterproof boots. The colors are a bit obscure, but they are not really seen inside your boots so not an issue for me. These socks run a bit small and you don’t want your socks overly tight if you are trying to keep your feet warm.Very pleased with these socks and plan to purchase additional pairs.

My husband has worn these merino wool socks while walking everytime he walks this winter. The weather had been cold and snowy and he still walks, but his feet do stay warm. He said the socks are soft, cushy, and do keep his feet warm. They are very long socks and fit almost up to his knees.

These socks are amazing. I have small feet (Size 6) and size small fits my feet perfectly. They are soft, warm, thick, so comfortable to wear and stay in place. They also look great!
