I use these for motorcycle camping and supporting a tarp. Easy to assemble/disassemble. Light and compact enough for carrying on the M/C. After a couple of uses, I think they will hold up well with reasonable care.

The product worked great as a canopy tarp pole for my overland camper. I bought two sets and I’m glad I did they work and that’s what is important.

I purchased two different sets thinking I was buying the same poles but was not the case. This set was a little more flimsy but easier to get apart after being used for several weeks at a time. One complete set was not high enough for my canopy so combined two sets which worked fine, you just have to buy more. These held up in very harsh winds. Impressive for the price, I will be able to use them a second season.

Love the how light they are and how neatly they pack up but are not able to stand up to heavy winds.

The sealed plastic bag in which it arrived was intact and unopened. One pole was missing the small rubber boot at the bottom of the pole (and no, the rubber boot was not loose in the bag). I am still in return period but not enough time for returns in my schedule. It may be easier to find a $2 rubber boot substitute at Home Depot. The accuracy of manufacture is such that the locking pins do not fit all the holes in all other sections, but there is enough variety to mix and match to get 2 working poles ;-)Overall, worth what I paid for it (if it was not for the missing rubber boot). Thx!

These poles worked out so nicely and I like the idea that you could adjust the height of them or combine them to make it longer even that I am now purchasing another set of the 75 inch long ones also.

I needed these to make a shelter for my generator when the power goes out. Works perfectly. I also have used them to make a shelter for my tent when camping in rain a colder weather. Nice extra protection to stay warmer and dryer.

I bought these poles to support the porch awning on my three-person tent. I already had some larger poles made by Weanas (available on Amazon), which are very good quality, but I wanted smaller, lighter poles for my tent. I settled on these poles made by San Like after extensive research and am very happy with them. First, the price: you would pay twice the price for ONE pole made by MSR, so this is a no brainer. MSR doesn't even given the material specs for its poles, so there's no evidence that they're better quality than these San Like poles despite costing four times more. Second, the San Like poles have just the right combination of medium diameter, light weight, and strength. Third, although they aren't microadjustable (telescoping) like the Weanas poles, the fact that they come in sections means that you can most likely get the right length for your use, and for backpacking you only have to carry the number of poles you need. I also like that the sections are just 15" long, making for a compact package. I'm confident that these poles are also strong enough for my 8 x 10 tarp. In other words, they will replace the heavier and bulkier Weanas poles. (If you have a larger or heavier tarp, the Weanas might work better.) Strong materials, light, great price, nice color, small package, flexible configuration. What's not to like?I like high-quality, affordable camping gear. Need a tarp to go with your poles? Great quality, very light. A welcome addition to my motorcycle camping setup. I can now setup a secondary rainfly shelter in the middle of a field if I had to.
