Not super strong rifle, but I never thought an air rifle could shoot this accurate. You must try different pellets, but when you find the correct one, it's done

Bought as a gift for my FIL. He loves it but does state that it’s a lot more powerful than he would ever need for his purposes. Not a negative but it is something to think about if you’re only looking for the aesthetic. He can easily shoot 200 feet when he does his part. Accuracy is probably more accurate than most shooters.

Old school pump up style. Killed many things with it. But ya gotta make sure you keep an eye on all the screws on this gun. They come loose. But other than that. I love it. I highly recommend it. I got the hollow point ammo. 177 caliber

Everything about the gun looks nice aesthetically and it shot well. The problem is, the entire pump mechanism is held together by pressure fitted washers. Just normal use causes them to come apart. Mine came apart right at the elbow of the pump arm after less than 50 shots. If you google it you’ll see plenty of others with the same exact issue. It’s just not built to last. I have been looking at this for over a year and finally pulled the trigger. Only to be very disappointed. I return it within the 30 window and opted for an anniversary edition Crosman 362. While it’s not as powerful, it’s close, quiet, built on a wood stock with metal breach, and hopefully sturdier.

Ok I had the rifle for like 3 days and only shot it 12 times last round I put in it the gun made a ( for a lack of a better word ) A marble in a tin can being violently shaken once sound and when I went to go and pump it again smoke came out the lower pipe and made broken gun noises it was never dropped or abused it was loved very much. But when it did work it was amazing and had the craziest hairline trigger I’ve ever pulled. Also support couldn’t even send me a new one and had me send it back to them for a refund. Take that how you want it

The rifle was delivered on time with no damages. The package was complete with a single shot tray, a magazine, extra o-rings and owner’s manual. I cleaned the barrel with dry patches until no grease was visible on the patch. I then took the rifle out for test. Using the existing sights I adjusted them to a 10 yard target. I had 5 different pellet types to tryout and settled on 3 (22 cal barracuda 18, barracuda hunter, barracuda hunter extreme) at the 10 yard target. I could put any of those mentioned pellets into very tight groups. I then moved out to 20 yards where it was very tough to tell which one was best using the iron sights. Being 69 years old I was pleased to group any of the 3 pellets in a 1 inch to 1-1/4 inch group with the rifle pumped 10 times . There is no doubt that with a scope this rifle would really perform.Reading some of the reviews where issues with the pumping mechanism having loose screws or other issues, I didn’t have any so far. Will try and update after putting the rifle through a few more shooting sessions

I haven't used that many pellet guns to compare but these drive tacks with the Barracuda pellets. Not so much with the Crosman pellets which seem small and loose for this one. 10 pumps is almost equal to 15 and probably good enough.I got a 4x scope because my eyes are 73 years old. Also appreciate the low resistance lever design of the pump. With the Barracudas I'm holding an inch at fifty yards as stepped off and barrel rested on the back of a lawn chair. 5 pumps or ten, it doesn't seem to make much difference in the group except in the sound of the force and penetration. I wouldn't put paper targets straight onto a cedar fence, lol. They don't seem to slow the heavy pellets down with 10 pumps. I like the little magazine that fits under my low scope mount.. I'm tall and had to make a buttstock extension out of a piece of nylon but it was easy on the straight back cut stock. Capped it with the piece that came with it and looks classy. Quality throughout.
