Over 100 Years of Quality
SKS is a quality manufacturer in the bicycle industry, we have been keeping bikes rolling for over 100 years.
Our history began in 1921 when Karl Scheffer-Klute of Sundern, Germany began manufacturing curtain rods. His company was purchased in 1932 by Wilhelm Blome, who also purchased a tire inflator company, which inspired him to begin manufacturing metal pumps.
SKS is now known as a pump and bicycle fender manufacturer, along with accessories for your bike, including bike pumps, fenders, bags, tools, digital pressure gauges, bottle cages, cage adapters, and even phone holders.
SKS items are still designed and manufactured in Sundern, Germany. We will continue to innovate and manufacture the highest quality cycling accessories for years to come.
The Future is Orange
SKS Germany employs 400 people at our bicycle HQ in Sundern, and over 700 employees across our three combined divisions.
43% of our bicycle business is through aftermarket product sales while 32% is OEM product.
Annually, SKS Germany produces:
- 4.5 million full fenders
- 2 million clip-on fenders
- 1.2 million bicycle pumps
This totals over 18,000 fenders per day and 3,200 pumps per day!
Revamping the classics
In 2022 the SKS full fender line was renewed. The classic Chromoplastic Longboard and Commuter II full fenders were replaced with the new Bluemels and Bluemels Style fenders.
Both models are made using the same chromoplastic fender material. But, the Bluemels now come with black hardware and are available in more sizes than before.
The Bluemels Style fenders feature a square profile design, double U Stay technology, a matte black finish, and come with a sleek, flexible spoiler on the front and rear fender.
SKS Germany continues to be a leader in clip-on fender options as well.

Keep a spare - broke mine during a fall. But the whole fender idea and system is great at keeping your back and butt dryer when road biking in winter mud runoffs.

These are exactly like the originals. It's a great system to attach your fenders quickly and easily. It's 4 stars, like the originals I know they will eventually break again but it'll probably be a couple of years.

I was planning to buy two, one for my aluminum frame and one for my carbon fiber frame road bicycles; however, when I tried to install, I realized this item was ONLY designed for internal routing disc brake frames or C-brake frames.Got my GT carbon fiber road bicycle frame, which is internal routing and C-brake frame, I have no issue to set this up...except I wish to see there is some protection of the fender hitting my carbon fiber frame coating.For my Jamis NOVA Sport aluminum disc brake frame, this is external routing frame and the rear fender had problem to be set up as the anchor place is right at the housing path, you cannot set up the rear fender......For your information, because the fender does catch the wind, when you install this on your road bicycle, you will feel a bit speed decrease due to the fender catches the wind and slow you down a bit.

If you have the fenders these go with, you don't really have any choice. That said, the straps are somewhat on the flimsy side.

Se adaptan perfectamente gracias a las multiples opciones de regulacion. Ademas no dañan la pintura porque los apoyos son de un material sintetico mas blando que la pintura. Y su peso es irrisorio.
