Sturdy, name brandy. Size is 10”X11.5”. It’s an expandable type envelope, expands a little more than an inch. Velcro enclosure that your press and pull, Not ideal. Velcro is strong, so it’s somewhat annoying to pull but not a deal breaker. Thin plastic but sturdy. Color is transparent. You really can absolutely read documents that are inside. You can def see if it’s a picture. I like the diff color. For the quality and price it’s a good price.

I bought these thinking they were fairly thick plastic and would prevent whatever I put inside from being easily bent. However, they are very thin plastic - thinner and more flexible even than most laminator plastic. They will probably keep your things safe from minor spills, but they're still going to bend and crease.

These expanding plastic folders are decent, particularly for the money. That said, I wish I had spent a few dollars more and gotten some that were a little heavier-duty.We travel a lot and like to pick up brochures and maps from the various places we visit. As such, we wanted these envelopes to help us organize these travel documents. As you can imagine, the brochures we pick up tend to be heavier than average loose-leaf paper, as such I would have preferred a stronger folder. Additionally, the hook and loop mechanism is a bit lighter than I would have liked.Again, these envelopes are a decent purchase for the money. But they are better suited for storing light-weight items, such as coupon-clippings or loose-leaf paper. For storing heavier items (such as brochures, maps, pictures...) I wish I had spent a little more and gotten stronger quality envelopes.

I have had and gone though a lot of folders like these because I like the closer so I do not lose any files. The material is durable but I have not used them long enough to say whether or not the Velcro is as durable as the plastic. The shining feature these folders has is that they are expandable! So far these are my favorite folders that I have bought for filing. I prefer this kind of folder/organization because you can color code, easily share, easy to transport, and fits 8x11 (standard) paper size.

I use these on a daily basis to sort items. They're great for meetings because you can easily see what's in the folder, but the items aren't going to come flying out. They're also perfect to use as file dividers within folders; you can easily pluck out what you need. These are pretty thick so they don't "flop" around like some other brands.

These are great if you want to store your kids' artwork, report cards, or any other type of document, really. They come in pretty, bright colors and unlike the opaque version you can quickly determine what's in these without opening them up. I've bought several of these throughout the years and they are extremely durable - and hold a pretty decent amount of paper (about an inch-worth if you don't want to over-stuff).

I am seriously in need of more now that I started organizing with these poly envelopes. They expand to about an inch, are transparent as the product image shows and have a small flap with velcro tab closure. I love that I can see through them because it makes it "label free" and you don't have to rummage through it like an ordinary envelope to see what's in it, even if it's labeled. I look at the paperwork facing the front or what I placed in the back window to determine if it's the 'right' envelope. I use them for important insurance papers, unpaid bills, paid health ins bills, paid monthly bills, tax records for the current year, follow up work papers, and more. The other way that I remember what is in them is by color code. Red envelope represents "Important!" and Yellow envelope represents "Caution-follow up," and Green means "paid receipts," Blue means "Insurance," etc. You get the idea.I think I'd like a few more packages to store some older important documents and will most likely order soon. So get yours now before I scramble to race you for them all! :)

These were perfect for organizing our home office and storing items that, while important, weren't something that needed to be put in a fireproof safe. They hold quite a bit and the velcro closure is a handy thing to have. No more worries about keeping the envelope closed when the elastic loop or cord eventually breaks. The see-through aspect is nice as well. We put a quick list of what was each one so we know what papers are where. Best part is the price - about 2/3 the price of what the local office stores sell it for.
