No Problems, Works Great. Had Flo water shut-off and the shut off valve kept breaking. I built my own water shut-off system with Home Assistant.

These leak sensors are nice! Water resistant and the leak detection cable is thick and long (ha), about 5 maybe 6 feet long. Enough to wrap around my water heater and then some. Paired with absolutely no issues using a Sonoff Zigbee coordinator connected to Home Assistant. Detection time is very fast too.

These devices work great, but I’ve had a bit of a challenge getting them to connect with my Amazon Echo (Gen 4). When I finally managed to connect them, the Alexa app mistakenly treated them as motion sensors. But hey, at least they worked! I’ve since switched to the Sonoff Bridge, but I haven’t had a chance to unlink them and set them up with the EWELINK app yet. If I remember, I’ll update my review with my experience. As for the water detection, I’m really impressed with how sensitive it is. It can detect water all the way along the length of the wire sensor, which is quite a long area. I’ve had it go off when the prongs make contact with water, and even when the wire gets wet. Just a heads up: if you’re setting it up, you can accidentally trip the pronged sensor by just licking it. It’s not dangerous, but it’s a quick way to check if it goes off when making contact with water and can be easily dried off by wiping it off and blowing it off. In summary, I love the length of the detection area and the sensitivity, but I’m not a fan of the fact that, like most companies, you need their bridge to make all the features work correctly.
