Great product, fits my StarCraft tent trailer with no issues. As many reviews have stated the instructions are pretty bad but nothing that doesn’t take a bit of time to figure out.

Nothing to mount it to my camper came with. Just the cross bars

This was unusable, as most components were missing. No instructions. Seemed like someone had perhaps returned it previously. Disappointed as we needed this for a trip and weren't able to find it in stock locally.

First of all, no instructions. But please read on. Right out of the box there are no instructions. Only instructions are labeled on the side of the box. Now, that being said, it is a fantastic rack for my pop-up camper. Good value for the money. Seems pretty sturdy. Mounted to kayaks with J-hook racks and drove to Florida from Maryland. No problem at all. I would highly recommend this product. But give yourself some time to figure out how to put it together.

Took me a little while to install properly instructions are terrible. However, one you get over that huddle it’s great. Already went on my first drive; it’s pretty sturdy.

Installed these on our 2021 Viking 2308LS popup. Went together well, heavy duty. I did weld angle iron on the center part to prevent sagging. I'm not sure it was necessary but it was stretched to the limit too span our roof. Make sure you put butyl tape under the brackets and a bead of caulk around the perimeter if you are going through the roof. I also installed 4 swagman bike racks and recently did a 6 hour round trip with bikes loaded. Haven't seen any sagging or damage.

Installed this on our Viking 2108st. A perfect fit, and solid as a rock, but as others have said, the instructions are useless. Bags and bags of hardware and no indication what washers/screws go with what. Have a handy person ready to help who knows what kinds of washers serve what purpose, otherwise you're in for a world of pain. However, once installed, this rack doesn't bounce or move at all. Using it with 4 bikes, and very impressed. It is better quality than our friend's Thule system which bounces all over the place.

We had a hitch mount bike rack and hated it. This is sooooo much easier to take the bikes on & off. An easy install. Yes, there are a lot of extra parts but my husband had it installed in a half hour. We're very happy with it, wish we had gotten it sooner.

This product says that it will install on the rails of a tent trailer if your trailer has them. Well I'm here to tell you it did not on our Jayco. Our camper is not that old and it does not work. The instructions are horrible and only in picture format. There are two pictures to show how to install on roof rails. NO trouble shooting or if your rails are like this do this. My husband had to figure out a way to install it on our roof rails himself and we had to buy different bolts to make it work. Poor instructions, does not apply for what they say it will, we'll see how well it holds up.

It is well built and sturdy, and is a great rack once you work past the concern where some parts are clearly not designed to fit together. The towers fit under the crossbars with a spacer between them. They are clamped together with a C-bracket on either side. And a through-bracket bolt tightens it all together. ...except that the washers provided with the bolts are narrow enough to slip through the bolt slots in the C-brackets. This is inherently insecure and could result in loss of the crossbars unless you stop by the hardware store and pick up appropriately sized washers. The towers are easy enough to mount to a variety of trailer roof configurations, but the instructions do not make clear which parts apply to which configurations. The instructions also do not adequately describe how to set the bar width. There are two holes on the outer telescoping bar, and one hole on the inner bar. Are these holes in some way related? Or can you ignore the inner bar's hole and just tighten down nuts in the outer bars' two holes? The instructions also don't indicate the need to use spacers inside the crossbar brackets, and yet it is absolutely necessary to do so, and the spacers are included along with the other miscellaneous stuff that doesn't seem to be applicable to my specific installation. I guess what is really lacking in the instructions is a diagram of parts indicating which ones each step of the process requires or can use.If you think about it, it ought to be inexcusable that the washers provided are small enough to slip through the brackets they mate up against. "You had one job: Get the right sized washers." The photos in the listing also show that the through-bolts for the crossbar brackets are stainless, but they actually seem to be some sort of painted-black metal. Nevertheless, once substantially larger washers were purchased, I was able to tighten the crossbars down firmly and securely. I spent about $6.00 on one-inch washers which provided additional strength to the bracket as well.On the other hand, these crossbars seem stronger than just about any I've ever used in the past on any of my vehicles. I'm confident that I could overload the crossbars to the point of damaging my RV's roof before the crossbars and towers ever failed. Once you get them installed, assuming you do a good job of sealing out moisture, they are going to sturdily last forever. They are certainly going to do the job of carrying anything I have that can mount on crossbars. At one time I can easily carry four to six bikes, or three bikes and a kayak (maybe even four bikes if I use a proper kayak mount), or a cargo box and a kayak, or cargo box and a few bikes. They're that strong. So, installation is relatively straightforward once you realize that the instructions are misleading at times, and incomplete at other times. And once installed (with the additional parts picked up at the hardware store) it's bullet proof and should easily last the life of the RV, after which time you'll remove them, give them a fresh coat of black enamel, and install them on your next trailer to last another RV-lifetime.

Good rack for pop up truck camper. Plenty wide and strong. The bracketry is a little flimsy so if you want a little more piece of mind just drill 3/8 holes and use stainless hardware. 5 stars for the price.

The rack is installed and holds a kayak on my pop-up camper roof... so now I can easily hold 3 kayaks.I believe this product will last me a very long time because it seems like thick steel... which is great. However it is also very thick steel as I said which is heavy and adds strain on a pop-up campers lift mechanisms. So I would say it could be improved by changing the construction to be lighterI had it professionally installed so I can not comment about the ease of installation... I will say make sure to mark on your roof with tape where you want the thing to go as they put them pretty far apart on me and I would have preferred a foot or 2 closer together.... but this is an installer issue and has nothing to do with the product itself.. juts a helpful tip... if YOU know what you are carrying and the width.. lay it out and mark it... as your roof AC unit has some impact on placement and if they aim for the same distance from both ends of the camper.. that's a FAR spread LOL.

The packaging was terrible. It was like I got somebody else's return. The products instructions were also terrible. I had to google around for a better explanation on install. Luckily I ended up figuring it out. The product itself once finally installed is of decent quality but everything else was unsatisfactory.
