Great looking battery box. I don't build too many active pickup guitars and basses, but this box will look great on the upcoming build. I really like the fact that the cover doesn't open via a hinge, a hinge that can break, get bent, or have the pin fall out of. You simply lift one side and the cover and battery rotate on the long axis. It's like a horizontal version of the "spinning bookshelf" secret door that Shaggy and Scooby would inadvertently get spun around in. Except it isn't hidden, secret, a bookshelf, nor does it lead to a secret passage.The clip on the inside of the cover has a clip that holds a nine volt securely.I am impressed with the looks of this battery box. The finish is great and I could not find any blemishes.Great box.

Although this item may seem a bit pricey, it's probably the last battery box you'll ever need for your guitar with active pickups. Standard boxes are made of plastic, and often break; this one is made of stainless steel and seems very study. Rather than the usual hinged door, this box has a revolving door that snaps in place once you've replaced the battery. The rivets that attach the door to the frame may be the only weak point here, but I can't see anything wrong with mine. This door comes with mounting screws, and should work for any guitar with standard battery box routing. It may also be useful for builders of cigar box amps and effects pedals. Whether or not one can justify its fairly high price is a judgement call. Personally, I like it, but your mileage may vary.

This 78mm (l) x 45mm (w) x 22mm (h) stainless steel Rozilo battery cover arrived in a resealable plastic bag. The cover itself operates by pressing on the cover, which actually rotates, revealing the battery holder.This is a nice looking replacement cover for batteries used on guitars and basses with active pickups. This definitely looks and functions much nicer than standard plastic covers (some of which are screwed on). I plan to use this on a bass that I plan on modding.All in all, I'm happy with this battery cover. Should my experience with it fail to flip in the future, I'll update the review.

Seems like a well made, and may work well for a kit guitar or custom build. However it doesn't fit any of my ESP LTD guitars battery cavities.

I didn't want a plastic battery door that would eventually fail. This one worked out perfectly. Good quality all around.
