This is a great clamp! I clamp it to a kitchen chair to use as a tripod for shooting table-top photos and videos. I particularly like that the screw both opens and closes it, as opposed to using a spring to open it. It ends up being a much more precise arrang, ent, easier to set up.The tripod is quite sturdy for its size and design. Another winner. The thread size is 1/4-20 - the same as most camera tripod mounts, so there’s a lot of flexibility in what you can do with this.

Excellent quality clamping pole bracket that can also be used for any camera with tripod socketI was looking for something that I could use to mount a compact zoom camera I have to the handlebars of my e-bike when I came across this SIBONIC brand Starlink Mini clamping RV pole bracket. I used Google to check to see if Starlink uses the same threads as a camera tripod mount and it does so I ordered it and indeed it threads into the bottom of the camera perfectly. For anyone wondering if this review is still relevant for someone who wants to use it to mount their Starlink to some type of pole (vs to a bike's handlebars) I would say probably. I went over some rough trails with a camera affixed to this mount and I think it was likely subjected to just as much if not more force vs if it was mounted to an RV pole but I can't say for certain. The one thing I did find that is definitely relevant for anyone using this clamping pole bracket is that I found I had to screw the screw for the clamp that attaches to the handlebars (or any pole) about as tight as I could manage to make sure it didn't slip at all over rough trails. If it wasn't tight enough the bouncing and the weight of the camera would cause it to start to rotate. I found if I tightened it about as much as I could by hand that it would not slip. One of the nice things about the clamp is that it has two rubber (or rubber like) inserts which will prevent it from marring whatever handlebars or pole it is mounted to. This kit even includes an extra set of rubber inserts for the clamp. They look the same as the ones that are already in it, so I assume they are just spares (no instructions were included with the kit).As for the fit, finish, quality and easy of use of this item, it seems quite heavy duty and I could find no faults with its strength, fit or finish and it was easy to adjust the position of the camera and then tighten down the relevant screw (for the ball joint) and it would stay in place. Also note, the range of movement allowed by the ball joint allowed the camera to be mounted either horizontally or vertically. So for anyone else who wants to use this item to mount a camera to bike handlebars, I give it 5 stars; I can't say for certain how well it would work with a Starlink mounted to it instead of a camera but from my experience, I think it would work just as well.

Right away, I was impressed by how solidly built and rugged these mounts are. Mostly made of various strong aluminum and steel, which I always appreciate, even the few plastic components are thick and robust. This equipment definitely gives the impression of something that will withstand the rigors of hard use. A thick aluminum mounting disk is included for the dish to handle both mounts in the kit.The tripod legs have extremely smooth hinges and the whole unit folds down into an incredibly compact 1” in diameter. The 1/4” mounting stud is comprised of a hex bolt which is fed up though the middle. I especially like this because it is a relatively standard size for most tripod mounted gear and means that the tripod can be used for other purposes when not needed for a starlink dish. The tripod legs are incredibly wide when fully extended which provides amazing stability. The rail mount is also equally impressive. The ball mount system is extremely versatile with a wide variety of configurations and positions to accommodate most likely situations. The two halves of the ball joint housing are held together and tightened with a wing nut threaded onto a fixed stud. This very effectively clamps the very hard plastic together against the balls. The rail clamp also tightens by the same comfortable plastic wing handle, just on a bolt instead of a nut. This bolt is threaded into very thick 3/8” barrels imbedded through the entire width of the clamp which give the whole unit impressive strength and stability. A feature that I really liked is the interchangeable pads in the clamp jaws for different rail diameters. I ended up switching these pads out for the included wider set.All things considered, this mounting kit is super impressive.

I did not order this tripod set for a Starlink antenna. I ordered it for phones and cameras. This is a very sturdy tripod and clamp for those purposes. They are easy to use and work well for my purposes. The 1/4-20 thread on the mount is exactly what you need for cameras and phone mounts. They fit perfectly.
