I could probably build a better tool from a piece of black pipe. The material they used is too cheap.

Didn’t come painted but so long as it works those precious few yards it’ll be worth it.I’d definitely recommend that they try and sell a heavy duty one for off road. There’d be an explosion of sales. Six bolts and a steel sleeve and they’d have a winner.

This so called tool is nothing short of a bad paper weight. Made out of aluminum with no steel inserts for the threads for the eye screws to allow tightening. The eyelet screws are 1/4 inch thread and need to be 3/8 thread. What a poor design. I am gonna drill, tap and install steel inserts to turn this piece of junk into a real tool that can be used more than 1 time.

The coupler is a good design but could be better if it was of stronger material like the actual tie rod and adjusters are. Shipped quickly, arrived before promised. I did see it for about $11.00 cheaper on Amazon a week or so after I purchased it. Not sure what happened there. Good product overall.

Works great for the intended purpose, temporary reconnection of broken tie rod to move a vehicle around the shop. It does include the eyelets.
