The drum makes a lovely sound. The tongues are labelled with their letters for note, and the critter is easy to learn how to play. I bought a couple extra tongue drum books for it and have a nice collection of really easy songs to play. A guest likes to play it, also, and it is pretty and compact in our small apartment. It come with 2 mallets, which are easy to hold and make a nice sound. There are a couple You Tube videos you can watch and listen to, to improve your talent. Nourish your talents in life, they are what the Lord gives you, and they are all you have with which to help others.

Husband loves the drum. Cat loves the drum case. It's a win in multiple categories! Included booklet is a good start for beginners but has some obscure song choices. Finger mallets don't really work; the sound is too dampened but with the regular mallets, it sounds great! Solid purchase!

The drum, case and sticks are beautiful and well made. Love them.I am very disappointed in the music book. It does not measure up to the rest. Poor quality, hard to read. A waste.
