Blew up mutiple alpine subs with 1000 watt v12 amp. Put this one in....best decision ever. Speaker sats it handles 1000.....it can take a lot more.

Great sounding subwoofer when installed in a proper specification tuned and ported box, bought mine in May of 2020 and it's still going strong at 1000 watts RMS, blows away the junk Alpine Type R I had before that blew up within the first 8 months that I had it and Alpine wouldn't honor their 1 year warranty or replace it stating that it "wasn't sold by a authorized Alpine dealer", BS, anyhow I strongly suggest this subwoofer, period.

I have one 12" sub stuck inside the QBOMB box powered by a Kicker 1200w amp wired to 1ohm and this thing bangs!! The bass knob sits at 50%, nothing more is needed. Ive grown a legion of more than 600 angry red light neighbors when I pull up.
