It's a replacement lens hood for my lens, I lost the other one while on a game drive in Kruger. No idea where it fell off. This seller had the best price and the lens hood is brand new and shipped from Japan in excellent packaging. Thanks!

I ordered the incorrect lens hood for my lens and didn’t realize it until I got it and tried it and it didn’t fit. So I ordered the correct one and filled out the information to return the incorrect one. Because I live quite a ways from a UPS store I would have to ship it back at my expense to return it and get it re-credited to my card. I’m very disappointed that it cost me almost $18 to ship it back toget the $36 refund. On the order itself it was only five dollars for shipping charges.That means that only half of what that lens hood cost I got back from returning it. If I had walked into a camera store and purchased it, and then returned it, I wouldve gotten all of my money back.

Diese Gegenlichtblende macht genau das, was sie soll.Nachdem ich eine Gegenlichtblende eines Drittanbieters genutzt habe, bin ich doch wieder auf die original Blende umgestiegen. Das Original passt einfach viel besser. Auch ist diese optimal auf das Objektiv angepasst.Trotz des doch relativ hohen Preises, habe ich den Kauf nicht bereut. Die Qualität und Passgenauigkeit ist doch m Welten besser als eine Gegenlichtblende aus dem Zubehör. Hier sollte man nicht an der falschen Stelle sparen.

The lens hood is just what I expected when I was ordering. It looks like the old one in all respects, however, it does not fit as tightly as the original and will wiggle a little if a slight tension is applied in and out. It does click into place as expected but doesn't seat firmly in place. Since I mostly use the lens hood to protect the front element instead of the cap I worry that it might come loose after time and fall off. It is performing satisfactorily at the moment and I'll have to see if this will be a problem over time.
