My dad got this TRAILV2 hitch-mount bike rack, and he absolutely loves it! Since he's older, he specifically looked for a rack with a ramp to make loading his e-bike easier. The best part is that this rack isn’t as heavy as other high-capacity racks. While many brands weigh over 70 lbs, this one is around 50 lbs, so he can lift and install it on his own.For a rack at just around $350, we were pleasantly surprised that it includes both a bike lock and a hitch lock as part of its anti-theft design. Many expensive racks don’t even have that. It can also fold up and tilt down. He keeps saying this is the best deal he’s gotten this year, and he’s been using it constantly!

I think I’m one of the earlier owners of this STUDTREX bike rack, and it’s a solid rack. Feels really sturdy, and it’s got all the features I was looking for. I checked around, and it’s rare to find a bike rack that comes with a ramp, tilts, and has built-in wheel locks. Plus, it includes a lock pin and hitch tightener, so both security and stability are spot on. I also compared it to other brands like Thule and Yakima, which are way too pricey for me. Compared to other racks with a ramp, this one is lighter, which works better for me. I also like that it can fold up to save space when I’m not using it. Works great with my electric bikes, 26" Aventon and 20" Heybike, both with 4.0 inches fat tires, fits just fine. Assembly seemed like a lot at first, but following the video made it easy. Took me about 30 minutes. Using your own wrench makes it much more convenient. Overall, I’ve been really happy with it so far. Highly recommend!
