I like this jacket a lot, it feels *great*. That said, I could not determine what was used for the waterproofing based on the literature available here and TLD.com.Other brands (Endura, Patagonia, etc.) specifically call out that they're PFC/PFAS-free and this is a big deal and while it's not easy for manufacturers, especially those that contract out manufacturing, I need to know that I'm not furthering the proliferation of PFAS in outdoor apparel with my purchases.TLD replied that 2025+ are PFC/PFAS-free.

The material on this jacket is good quality, but the sizing is off. I am large and it feels tight when I zip it. I recommend to order a size bigger you will not regret it.

I fell in a CX/gravel race on some pretty sharp gravel. I slid on it and got caught by a sharp rock face coming from the backslope of the trail. The jacket prevented rips and showed much less wear than I expected. It appears to have been designed with a robust rip-stop fabric on the exterior and a somewhat elastic waterproof lining on the interior. The ripstop fabric will soak, causing gravity to pull the saturated water towards your waist. If you're riding in cold rain, definitely order a larger size and wear an insulated lining beneath. I ride in Boulder, CO so our summers can prompt cold rain showers sometimes. Rode through one and I was fine.

Good fit, The hood works great, only two pockets but I think that helps with making it so waterproof. A little pricey for a rain jacket? But I would buy it again!

I wanted a windbreaker for my pants and this was exactly expected. Good price.
