The delivery was fast and the unit was extremely well packaged. There is minor assembly required. The foot pedals need to be installed and there are two screws per pedal. The installation tool all of 30 seconds and they even included a screwdriver. The remote is nice as bending down to change the settings on the control panel would be a total pain. They didn't include any batteries - you need 2 AAA batteries. The remote works but it's finicky. You need to point it directly to the unit's control panel. Any angle / offset makes it not work. You also have to be slow the remote. Push one button at a time and allow 2-3 sec between presses. For instance, if you want to change the speed, you can't just hold the up/down buttons down for quick change. This may not be a big deal but the unit has 15 speeds and anything below 10 isn't even usable. So every time you need to use it, you need to start from 1 and click the up button 10 or more times with 2-3 sec in between. It takes 30 seconds to just get going. There are multiple modes - manual mode and 5 programmable modes P1 to P5 (the manual says there are only three programmable modes). The problem is that the manual gives no information on how the programmable, preset modes should be setup. After a lot of button presses, we couldn't figure it out. So, we're using the manual mode only.I got this unit for my elderly parent who has knee issues and this provides easy and accessible leg and ankle exercises while sitting.

Basically, the installation is just attaching the pedals which consists of lining up the holes and utilizing 2 screws to attach the pedals to the rotating arms of the machine. The pedals are labeled “Left “and “Right “The remote requires 2 AAA batteries that are not included. The machine itself has a very stable platform and there is some weight to it. While using it on the rug under my desk, the machine did not move around at all. I keep the unit under my desk and just move it back when I want to work out. I love the fact that I can use the machine and work at my computer all at the same time. The remote is very handy so that I don’t have to bend down and use the controls on the machine itself. The machine has manual settings as well as pre-programmed workouts. Speed can be adjusted from 1 to 15. You can also reverse direction. The workout time is limited to 30 minutes. The pedals move automatically after a several second count in indicated by a flashing screen. The pedals actually move on their own. There is no effort required. There is no actual resistance. The only thing you can adjust is the speed. You do have indicators such as; Time, Distance, Calories Burned, Speed, and number of Revolutions. The machine is not very loud at all and the pedals have a nice smooth flow to them. The plastic pedals are large enough but not quite large enough for me. I have a size 13 Wide foot. So, I just remove my sneakers and workout in my socks. It is no big deal. The machine comes with a set of straps for your feet but I don’t use or need them. They also include a set (3) of rubber training bands. The included book of instructions is easy to follow. I have really enjoyed using this machine and my legs do feel better.

Sets up fairly easy, works with remote (after you get 2 AAA batteries) or manually which is the only setting that gives lets you control the speed and direction (forward & reverse).. The other programs P1 - P5 starts out slow forward and progressively goes faster till it reaches its top “Programmed” speed, then Stops, reverses at the higher speed and slowly “decelerates” to a final stop. Each Program increases speed in in larger steps than the previous Program. There doesn’t seem to be any “resistance” factor built in, but after a few minutes into each program, my feet and ankles were “tingling”, I felt a definite increase in the circulation of my feet, ankles and even my shins. I didn’t thinks it did much at first, but after using it through a couple of complete cycles, it is definitely worth trying. Not too big, so it stores easily in fairly tight places if need be. The remote works best, kind of hard to see the writing on each button as with most floor machines. I had purchased another brand as a birthday present for my wife (significantly more expensive) and this one works almost as well, so for $99.99, it’s definitely worth it.
