Overall: i’ve had this product for about an hour and I’m very happy. I will update if that changes.Shipping: shipping was quick. Came in a bubble mailer simple white cardboard box construction.Assembly: pretty self-explanatory two hollow D size batteries, one with a cord coming off of it, that plugs into the wall outlet part. No instructions but that’s fine really easy to use.Looks: I was alittle worried it would be super cheap and have a ton of exposed dangerous wiring, not the case at all!Hot wheels tracks? Heck yes! Working great on my LO’s hot wheels track. I did have to drill a small hole in the top of the battery cover in order to be able to close. (Not a necessity just makes me feel better about it)

I have one of those battery operated candles, that is on an internal timer. Even off it uses power. The batteries go off about once every three months. I bought this and never half to worry about it again. Works great.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. I was worried about the second "battery" not being connected but it's only there to connect the positive and negative pins. Works on any appliance that needs one or two D batteries.
