This ham press works like others I've had, but it is a little more durable. It's easy to use, but you do need to use caution. I started making my own bread a year ago, and bought a cheap ham press to make lunch meat, this was definitely an upgrade. There are so many delicious recipes you can make and season to your liking. Traditional store bought lunch meat is to high in sodium, with this you can control the sodium.

This is easy to use. It is easy to clean. It's a good size for a loaf of lunch meat. It was a good price.

Used this thing for the first time, and it's really cool! Made a chicken breast loaf for sandwich meat. Worked perfectly.

I never thought making your own deli meat is possible - but this kitchen gadget does it! I've gone down the sausage and smoked meat rabbit hole, deli meat is a new journey.This press is straight forward to use, and the thermometer on the top is a must. The build is sturdy and heavy duty, easy to clean too. My deli meat isn't pretty, but tastes good.

If you know how to use one of these you can make stuff. Not ham per se, but ground loaf type stuff. Of course, there is such a thing as pressed ham, but you have to start from...ham.Anyway, there are lots of recipes on the internet for ground gyro and donor kebab meat. It works for that, and you can make your own pretty tasty "lunch meat/ deli meat" but don't expect the kind that you actually get at the deli. Think similar to the meat that slides out of a dog food can.Physically, the unit is easy to clean, works well mechanically and the thermometer on mine was pretty accurate.

Product works as described. Be careful taking the lid off after cooking mine stuck and i thought it was closed, it was not and shot the lid across the room. Having the thermometer in there is nice so you can see when it's done without having to open the hot container or relying on faith.
