I've got a portable garage that uses a tarp-material cover. When the cover succumbed to UV and failed I tossed a big tarp over it. But the eyes along the edges pulled out under stress. Adding these clips between the installed eyes has distributed the stress such that the tarp has not yet failed. :)

Having the other style of these with the sliding style mechanism I didn’t realize what I was missing. While the other style technically works it doesn’t always work well. They come loose and I’ve definitely had bad experiences with them. These on the other hand once they are tightened are not going anywhere! Easy to use, all you do is slide over your tarp, tent, cloth, whatever and twist the tightener. Good luck getting them off without loosing them! If While they have holes on the end which will fit most bungees or string. The also included caribiners for easier use or for use elsewhere. Seriously,, what a difference these are than what we had previously. Great product for the outdoor tote! My only issue is that I wish I had these earlier.
